We are a family with a little baby had a great night there. Everything of John's Court Motel is excellent, location is on the highway but quite. Our two bed room apartment is very clean, massage tub and comfy bed. Also, John is very nice and helpful, special thanks to him for helping me call doctor for a small incident.

The Fern and Thistle is an exceptional property. Luxurious, quiet, and comfortable. Located out in the beautiful countryside of Balcultha with easy access to the main highway. We loved the view of Balclutha and the Clutha river, Jodie had supplied us with every thing that we could have wanted, the walk in shower was especially good. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and really felt at home. It was really convenient to explore the southern part of the south island of NZ. Jodie was a wonderful host.
