A large, beautiful, spacious and house with everything you need for a comfortable stay: cozy living room with fireplace, large bedrooms with soft beds, kitchen with all the necessary facilities, plenty of dishes, and an excellent espresso machine, bathroom with small sauna and shower with good hot water pressure. I fell in love with this place at first sight. The house is very clean and has many beautiful details and objects. And the host, Sarah, is amazing, very kind, helpful.

Key pick up is a breeze- very informative txt message from the owner. Accomodation immaculate, super comfortable & the full kitchen makes staying away much more cost efficient as you can prepare meals rather than buying out. Whakaoriori is my home, I've lived abroad for 26yrs my heart belongs here. I have so much aroha for this place it's ashame some don't know the beauty and potential.this place has to offer. The whenua the maunga the awa all flow thru my veins embedded for life always connecting me to my people. Masterton is definitely home to the brave❤️🥰

It's the ideal getaway for a short vacation.

It's the ideal getaway for a short vacation. There are numerous short walks and dining options. Henley Lake and the Millennium Reserve are particular favourites and for a longer trip Castlepoint is hard to beat.

If it wasn’t for the purpose we were there for Masterton is...

If it wasn’t for the purpose we were there for Masterton is a great place to explore my son and I tried a cafe there our facilities were of convenience to why we were there though. We would like to explore more next time

Our 2-night stay was about doing a day trip to Castlepoint...

Our 2-night stay was about doing a day trip to Castlepoint which we achieved. Fabulous spot with lovely sandy beach. Can recommend stopping @ the local store for a feed of Blue Cod & chips. Couldn't have been fresher. Delicious food @ Tripoli & CBK each evening. Coffee @ Strada was good too. Queen Elizabeth Park is worth checking out. Weather not so good so didn't get to see enought of it or do any of the other walks.

The travel is 6-7 hours from Auckland.

The travel is 6-7 hours from Auckland. Maybe 2 nights is just right if you want to see all the attractions of Masterton. Unfortunately, we only went to Castlepoint due to time constraints. There is a dairy where we ate lunch.

The staff had an amazing big smile in their faces, not just because they have to smile ,it was natural and anything you ask, done a such way that you didn't feel uncomfortable asking. We had a magical weekend in the Copthorne hotel and the surrounding Area ( Masterton) 10 out the 10 is not enough, Thank you very much to all staff that we have contact with during our stay

The bed was comfortable with clean sheets. The unit was spacious and had a separate bedroom with 2 single beds. It was quiet. We were visiting friends in Masterton, so we didn't spend much time in the unit. There was everything we needed for our brief stop.
