Such a beautiful properly, I couldn’t believe it when I first walked in. It’s located near Maraetai beach and I was stunned by the beautiful blue waters of the sea. I highly recommend staying here, it was so clean, had everything I needed and such a hidden gem.

We had a wonderful stay at Maraetai Yacht Club. The home was beautifully furnished and well-equipped but the highlight was the stunning view of Maraetai Beach. The location was perfect: peaceful and close to the beach, cafés and coastal walks. Would highly recommend Maraetai Yacht Club to visitors seeking a seaside escape with all the comforts of home.

The apartment was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was clearly high quality, so we had a great nights sleep. The cooking facilitates are more expensive than the pictures shown & breakfast was great, our host supplied yogurt, cereals, fruit, bread & butter, tea coffee and hot chocolate. The host gave us some useful information about the area and where to go, places to eat and visit. She was lovely. We have traveled all over NZ and stayed in lots of types of accommodation, this was a bargain and we have no hesitation in recommending it.

The studio is cute and with a great view. Could sit outside for breakfast and snacks and wine with the great company of lovely and friendly ducks. We had a great time swimming and kayaking in the bay. We were without car and bus stop is walking distance. We recommend and would stay there again.

The beach itself is gorgeous, especially at high tide when...

The beach itself is gorgeous, especially at high tide when the water is crystal clear and you can have fun jumping off the wharf. Lots of food options between the cafe, boat club, takeaways or a couple of restaurants. Unfortunately it is a horrifically busy beach. Lots of trash, plenty of inconsiderate beach goers. Beach parties last well into the night with incredibly loud music and fireworks. Quite a few off-lead uncontrolled dogs around. The locals are brash, loud and really do take over the entire beach. Great if you are up for a beach party, not so great if you are looking for a peaceful getaway where you can grab a bit of r&r

Maraetai is a great place to stay with very safe beach and could shop nearby at Beach lands and still being close to the city and suburbs, also it has a great boat club and do very nice meals etc , we have spent many, many years in and around Maraetai and Beach lands it's a great place.

A beautiful spot to relax, walk and explore.

A beautiful spot to relax, walk and explore. Maraetai is a great place to either stay and relax or use as a base for further exploration of the area. Great walks. Swimming all year round with local jeennocean swimmers. Safe beach. Cafes on the waterfront.

Lovely place to relax and unwind to enjoy the water, the beach and the restaurants. The Indian restaurant there is absolutely delicious, and the service was really good too. Great walking tracks also.
