Perfect location for catching a boat to Doubtful the next day. We'll set up with everything you need, milk, coffee, shampoo, Netflix. Nicely styled and functional. Had turn the heater on before I arrived.

The house is obviously loved as it is very spacious yet cosy. It was very quiet and had on site parking. The internet speed was great. The shower was wonderful and hot with a pressure like the Milford sound falls. They had a washing machine which was handy to wash my clothes after a long run. It was walking distance to The Church eatery (would recommend) and Frasers beach. The bed base was one of those cardboard pull outs which I have only ever seen on the internet, but you didn't even notice it unless your foot brushed past it and then it made a sound of cardboard which is a little unsettling, but it was fine and the foam pillows were really nice. I would come back in the future.

The house is big, seems completely new and offers ALL what you need to cook and wash. The localization regarding the Doubtful sound experience is great as you can walk 5 min to it easily. Just a great house to stay in, we enjoyed it.

With mountain views, Cabot Lodge - Fiordland National Park is set in Manapouri and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace.

Perfect stay! The host is very nice and responsive. The spa under the night sky is indeed amazing! The bed is the most comfortable one during my stay in nz. And the alpacas and the cat are very cute and friendly. Highly recommend.

We liked everything about Murrells Grand View House! Okay, the shower water pressure was a bit weak, but the house was built in the 1880's! Rob and his wife were fantastic hosts and their family home is stunning. The breakfast was perfect. Rob took our order and Philippa prepared it and we dined with other guests, sharing stories about our travels. We were taking a boat to Doubtful Sound for the overnight excursion and Rob and Philippa's place is perfectly situated. Rob said we could park our car with them overnight so we wouldn't have to worry about its safety. The walk to the harbor is about 300 feet so we're talking ultra convenient!

We stayed in the small cabin for 3 very rainy nights and it was comfortable. There was a little heater in the cabin co we were warm during the night. The whole place is a little bit outdated, but it has nice charm. Staff was very friendly. We used barbecue one night- it is under the roof so you don’t have to worry about rain. Two blocks with showers- for free!!, toilets were clean. Kitchen was clean with nice dining area. There was a small room with tv and heaps of dvd movies- watched Lord of the rings on the rainy day. There is also laundry which we didnt use. Close to the lake and church pub!

Very nice accomodation next to the lake. We had a cabin with our own kitchen and bathroom. Personal was super friendly. We would definitely come here again!
