Friendly, with lots of eating places, so varied food available. Lots of play areas for kids.
At Cobb & Co, I booked a group booking for 25 guests on Sunday afternoon and was very pleased with everything there. The food was good as well as the friendly staff.

Levin is a service town rather than a holiday destination...
Levin is a service town rather than a holiday destination but it provided a pleasant, close to home place for a minibreak for me.
Cobb and Co good for meals.
Beaches reasonably close. Need own transport.

Very respectful very clean nice and quiet I think I was the noisy one sorry to the owners 🙈 very close to everything so I highly recommend the Totara Lodge very much so I definately would go back there myself and stay longer in the same room if I'm able too 👍

Motels which are on the main State Highway one can be busy...
Motels which are on the main State Highway one can be busy and unless adequately sound proofed you should try and avoid them or use ear plugs for sleeping, also the speed limit determines the degree of road traffic noise and also the main rail line runs through the town and at least 3 freight train thunder through during the night which are as noisy as the trucks.

Friendly staff, lovely clean and warm in our room, loved that I had special request for and extra car park and puppy and we were granted our requests. On departure the owner gave us recommendations for breakfast, even though the place was not open I appreciated the suggestion. Thankyou totara staff we will be booking again when next in Levin.

It was so tidy and easy to navigate
I think it would be even more amazing through the summer. The owners are so lovely! Me and my little family loved everything about it. Mr 4 year old even wanted bunks and other items this place offered at our own home. I would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for being awesome Levin

Clean modern facilities, very spacious and staff is excellent went above and beyond to accommodate, definitely will be booking here again if ever in levin

Location was great for us- although need better curtains to block out streetlights. Road noise was annoying- but not hotels fault.
