It is a lovely location and a beautiful home. The views are sensational and it has a homely feel to it. We loved the decor and the way the house was put together, it had character. Very nice for a wee getaway. The owners were also very accommodating and helpful.

Excellent and well maintained property in Dunedin right infront of the lakes. Superb value for money as you get a whole apartment to yourself. Rooms were very comfortable with everything you need provided. If I were honest, I think the property is priced too low for what you get.

The Barn was the perfect spot to stay for our last night in Te Wai Pounamu/ South Island. It was in the cool, lush bush, the sound of birds and chooks the only disturbance; no traffic to contend with, no noisy neighbours. The bed was very comfortable, the water hot, the barn warm, with its wood fire, and the two dogs very friendly. Alan, the host made us welcome from the moment we arrived - and he even found a bottle of very tasty wine for us to have with our evening meal - which he also provided. We were very grateful that we didn't need to leave the serenity.
