Amazing wood cabin! The whole area is very beautiful! Great scenery with animals, such as ponies, goats, sheep, and alpacas nearby. A great place to rest and enjoy the view. There is a pub in a 5 minute drive where you can enjoy your drinks and a nice meal. The cabin is clean and had all we needed for a 1 night stay.

This older farmhouse is spacious, very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The hosts provided complementary local produce, which felt very welcoming. There was plenty of room for family members to park. The rural outlook and views of the Rangititkei cliffs contributed to a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for outdoor activities in and around Mangaweka.

After a full day of hiking the Tongariro Crossing, it was blissfully cozy and peaceful to unwind in the comfortable accommodation, complete with a snug bed and soothing warm shower. The manager was very friendly. She led us to our room, explained how to use their interactive TV. We also deeply appreciated the her thoughtful assistance with some practical matters during our stay.
