Second time staying at Heartland Haast Hotel. Good spot to stay on a West Coast road trip. The building exteriors have a very cool mid century aesthetic, if you're interested in architecture. Easy check in and check out, friendly staff, clean rooms and reasonable pricing. Restaurant/pub is a good spot (well, the only spot) for dinner. Whitebait fitters are top notch. The beach down the road is beautiful.

Offering studio rooms for 1 or 2 people and family rooms for up to 6 people, this property includes rooms with cooking facilities and ensuite bathrooms. Free parking is available on-site.

Very clean and extremely spacious. Very comfortable. A good location for breaking our journey from Hotikia to Queenstown. Restaurant was just across from the motel.

Located along the coast, a 10-minute drive from Haast, Bay Road Motels is surrounded by nature. The Turnbull river being a short walk from motels.
