The room was amazing. Big space with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom is also big and very clean. I cannot eat gluten and the staff bought gluten free bread and muesli for my breakfast, much appreciated. The terrace is fantastic for breakfast.

Gisborne is a lovely place to visit. Had a wonderful meal at the Gisborne Cossie Club, value for money. People very friendly. Went for a drive up to Kaiti Hill. Went out to Okitu beautiful spot. Definitely will go back.

Lovely place to go when the weather is good.

Lovely place to go when the weather is good. A really good selection of beaches to choose from. Restaurant selection is surprisingly good for a mid sized NZ town. Nice saturday farmers market is a real treat and the wineries in the district are the icing on the cake. Great place to go for those who are into surfing and surf related activities.

I like how everything is all in a near by distance from the...

I like how everything is all in a near by distance from the motel we stayed at and also the food around the area were delicious. I don't like how everything is closed at 10pm, I went out to buy some coke and some snacks and nothing was open. But other than that I loved my stay here in Gisborne. I would definitely recommend this town/city to anyone who is traveling on a short or long trip.

The first city in the world 🌎 to see the sunrise and has beautiful beaches to swim.This city is family orientated and the lifestyle here is relaxed mode. The people here enjoy the hunting and diving/ fishing experience (kai gathering).Also alot of agricultural/ horticulture revolves here as well. There is also a lot of farming sheep & cattle here on the east coast and definitely comes with a beautiful coastline to drive and enjoy 💯👌 Highway 35... Stay blessed 🙌 enjoy your everyday 🙏

Warm and friendly, lots of cafes, get out on to the board walk for an easy walk or take the Titirangi hill/maunga walk for a bit more of a challenge. DO make sure you greet and talk to people. Lots to see and do. PBC make the best hashbrowns and all day breakfasts.

The Gisbourne coastline is perfect for getting away and some great self-care time. The town offered a good range of food, clothing op shops, but getting away from the crowds and driving along the coast was only 20 minutes out of Gisbourne, was worth the trip absolute paradise, its my number one holiday spot, I will be returning

The location was close to the beach, short walk into town. I was surprised and delighted when I saw the unit. They had thought of everything. If I'd been staying longer I would have used the kitchen more. Ideal for someone who wants to self cater and not have to rely on restaurants. The lovely lady who escorted me to my unit couldn't have been more welcoming. Made my stay in Gisborne memorable.

It is part of the Portside Hotel. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Gisborne Harbour, local restaurants, and the beach, where you can enjoy stunning sunsets. Apartment has everything you need for a family stay away 😊 very nice host, easy to communicate.
