Beautifully prepared and decorated spacious room in a quiet garden location only a short drive from town. Very welcoming, helpful and considerate host. The room had a comfortable bed and a sofa. The kitchen was well equipped, with a washing machine as well. A very comfortable and relaxing place for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

The house we stayed in is new, well designed, and has got architectural award. It has farm view and the mountain view. All the things are exceptionally clean. The host are super friendly and has attention to detail. The breakfast they made was far beyond our expectation that local produce was used, and the host would give you lots of choice for your breakfast. We had made different selections for breakfast each day.

We were travelling on to another destination so had only planned to stay 1 night. Geraldine is a lovely township. Worth a visit. The Barkers shop is a must. The café is superb. Plenty of other excellent places to eat. Everything pretty much within walking distance.

Geraldine is a pleasant place to stop overnight on your way to Christchurch or Tekapo. There are a lot of facilities for a small town. We had a nice brunch at Verde which I can recommend for it's nice food and surroundings.

Geraldine is an attractive little town and a great place to stay. It has interesting shops and restaurants. Grandpa's Toys is a great wee toy shop. Verde is a lovely place for lunch and breakfast. The Village Inn is a warm, friendly place for dinner. They have a new Thai restaurant, a very good Indian, and Barkers, where you can have breakfast and lunch and buy their great food products. There is also a lovely little cafe up in Woodbury. Woodbury also has a beautiful church.

There were lots of space, but no hangers or to hang up your cloths and there were no possibility to rinse your cups and the bed was old and we did sleep well. There was breakfast but the scone's were very dry( sorry). And there was nobody to welcome you, so no personal contact with the owners( That's a pity). Would not stay there anymore.

Sorry my review sounds like an ad. But it's no BS. Halfway between Christchurch and Lake Tekapo, Geraldine is a great little town to stop and recharge. Acland Falls walking track is a nice hike close by. Good supermarket, liquor store and plenty of food outlets. We had the cheeseburger loaded chips (Reburger) and the lamb shishkebab plate (rice and large salad included) (Kebab World). After the hike, it was just the pig out we needed This sounds

What a fantastic township with three Museums, crafts,...

What a fantastic township with three Museums, crafts, eateries and local stores. Everyone was very friendly and wanted to make our visit enjoyable. Barkers was excellent for dining out and looking and tasting their produce. Accommodation at Andora was inviting, clean, well serviced and staff were very friendly and kept the units and grounds beautiful.

The property is both a beautiful and an excellent place to stay. It was perfect for what my partner and I needed but also exceeded expectations. We loved the extra effort Fiona went to to make the stay exceptional, like the bath robes, crockery and bath room supplies. We only stayed one night but we wish we could have stayed at the property and in Geraldine for longer!
