Keith and Rose were an amazing host! Very friendly people, we got welcomed in their beautiful home with a spectacular garden! It was close to the beach, where I really recommend to watch the sunset. The room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed! It was a great stop on our road trip.

The location is excellent especially if you enjoy cycling ,...

The location is excellent especially if you enjoy cycling , the track to Charleston is very user friendly and is suitable for all riders , the track goes through lots of beautiful bush that is home to many birds. Bikers and walkers can also travel back to Westport and return, there are many information boards along the way describing the early settlers and the local wildlife. I highly recommend this coastal track for everyone.

We absolutely loved our time here.

We absolutely loved our time here. Everything was right on our doorstep, stunning walks, mountain biking trails, and even a great local spot for dinner at the Star Tavern just down the road. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the setting, tucked into the hillside near the Lighthouse walking track and Kawatiri Cycle Track, was just beautiful. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

It is great for Cycling now as the Kawhiti Trail is complete. The accommodation is at the mid point on the trail. This location is perfect for a weekend as you can ride in one direction one day and ride in the other direction the other day.

This is a beautiful place with some lovely walks and...

This is a beautiful place with some lovely walks and stunning scenery and beaches. Lovely place to just unwind and relax. We stayed in the hole in the rock Yurt which we loved, just gave the trip a unique spin. There is a pub less than 5 mins walk were we had a meal. The meal was nice, just basic pub food. But was ideal so we could have a drink and juts walk back to the yurt. A visit to the west coast pie company is a must, the pies are fantastic including vegetarian options which were very yummy. We did the walk to the lighthouse and then separately went to see the seals and also down to the hole in the rock. We didn't have a lot of time so would like to do some longer walks next time. Beautiful place well worth the visit would be wild in the winter. Which personally I love.

We loved everything about this place.

We loved everything about this place. A very secluded and relaxing space with EVERYTHING that we needed. We would love to stay longer next time. A special piece of paradise near Westport. Thanks Kevin & Trish!

It is, Off the beaten track, Very Peaceful, and recomend it...

It is, Off the beaten track, Very Peaceful, and recomend it to anyone who loves quietness. It's easy to find, as it's a dead-end road, you can't get lost. If ya stuck, just ask at the local pub. They are very friendly, too ! The owners are really lovely people, you only have to read the comments in the visitors book, to understand, what i say. Regards, Brian & Jill Christchurch.
