Very clean and so spacious, comfy beds, super easy access with carpark out front, gorgeous alpacas and a mini goat right outside the window, tin of food waiting on bench for us to feed alpacas if we wanted to (we did!), nice kitchen, felt like we were in the country but less than 10 minutes from grocery store to stock up and only 20 minutes from downtown Christchurch for dinner. So lovely and calming and quiet - fantastic option after a day of travel, particularly with someone neurodiverse in the group. Would have liked to stay longer. Lovely - and different - greenery-view bathroom. Wish we took more pics of the animals but we were too busy feeding them to take pics. Only pic I have is from when I was sitting at the table having my morning cuppa and had a lovely animal view.

A nice room in a privately owned new villa with a shared bathroom. All new and very clean, very comfortable beds. Very friendly and nice people, other guest were there as well. Parking can be done in the street, free. Restaurants are 5 min. drive away in the center of the town. Location is about 30 min. by car from the airport and well suited for a short stay after arriving or before departure from Christchurch. Also the nearby pennisula can be explored in a day trip from here.

Every Thing, I Liked where the Grouse Hotel was (Lincoln, great little town, Bus stop right outside the door, jump on to Christchurch Central, from there you can get a bus to anywhere you want.
