From the views on arrival, to the staff and rooms to the beach. The views were magical. The Bay was warm and inviting for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking . Amazing location and resort. The Tinkler food was really good and the coffee shop was good.

Nice staff, clean room/bathroom en wonderful place. The café wasn't open (at the moment only in the weekends) but they gave us everything to make a good breakfast ourselves.

Jill & Peter are fabulous and very caring hosts, they made me feel welcome, safe and comfortable. The studio is well equipped and decorated so beautifully with an immaculate care for details and lots of color. And I was able to do my washing & got support with the TV immediately when I asked.

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite. Thanks so much, Tanya and Shayne

Tombstone is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Bluebridge Ferry Terminal and a short walk into Picton town centre. Nikki and Gary are excellent hosts, friendly and very accommodating. We arrived early and they were more than willing to facilitate early room access. The double rooms are cleverly laid out, hot showers and comfortable beds. Scones and toast for breakfast is a really nice touch.
