This is a luxury hotel at an affordable price. The decor and fixtures and fittings are stylish and modern. The shower was the best! All staff were all so friendly and helpful. We were looked after so well. Milan at the front desk made sure our holiday went smoothly and was very attentive to all our needs. The breakfast was delicious with excellent coffees. We also ate dinner and lunch here and all the food we ate was delicious and reasonably priced too. We did 3 excellent trips with Raj our very knowledgeable safari guide - a walking safari, a canoe trip and a jeep safari. Due to Raj’s knowledge and patience we got to see a wild rhino up close! All the staff made us feel like family and nothing was too much trouble. We were sad to leave. Milan arranged private transport for us to Bhaktapur and it’s a long drive but the driver was very professional and safe. Highly recommend everything about this hotel! It was even an easy 10 min walk to Main St and the sunset viewing platform in town.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 15-minute walk from the very center of Sauraha in a peaceful neighborhood. The building is modern and well-maintained, boasting a spacious garden with beautiful plantations and tables where guests can enjoy their meals. The dishes served are generous in portion, delicious, and reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. Speaking of service, the family that runs the hotel is remarkably friendly and helpful. Upon my arrival and departure, I was pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary pick-up and drop-off services to the bus station, which were provided without even having to ask. Someone was waiting for me at the station upon my arrival, and the owner even offered to drive me back to the hotel when they saw me walking from the center. All of my bookings, including the Chitwan tour and bus ticket to Kathmandu, were efficiently arranged through them, with flawless organization of pickups and drop-offs to the starting points—I didn't have to lift a finger. During my stay, I opted for the deluxe king room with A/C. The room was immaculately clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for two persons, despite traveling solo. Hot water was available 24/7, and I did not experience any electrical shortages throughout my stay. There was a shared balcony just outside my room but also one available for every two rooms I think. The view was nice, looking at the fields of the area. Additionally, there was a shared balcony just outside my room, and I believe there was another one available for every two rooms. The view from the balcony was lovely, overlooking the fields of the area. Thank you to the wonderful staff and management for making my stay so enjoyable and hassle-free!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but if you’re looking to share some truly special moments with a warm and welcoming Nepali family, this is the perfect place. Sit around the table, watch the kids do their homework, ask for a little local music demo (they might even let you join in!). They’ll happily welcome you into their daily life. Thank you to this wonderful family — I’ll cherish the memories of my stay for a long time.

I really recommend Hotel Safari Suite. That was the nicest and cleanest hotel that I've encountered during my visit to Nepal. Everything was as in description, including electric kettle with tea and coffee in the room. When I visited they also offered complimentary pickup and drop off at the bus station. The hotel is located in the quiet street that was within the walking distance to shops, restaurants and the river side. The park guide associated with the hotel deserves a special recognition. We went with him on a private whole day jeep safari and he went above and beyond to show us as many animals as possible. We saw two tigers that day, while many other people didn't have such luck.

The place is just perfect for your stay in Sahaura! The room I stayed is basic but nice and clean, you can have hot water and mosquito net for bed. The family is so sweet, friendly and welcoming! They even helped me booking the bus to go to Katmandu and reaching the bus station the last day with the scooter. Super recomended!

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself. Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

Our one-night escape at Motherland Resort in Sauraha was simply exceptional. The standout dinner, pristine cleanliness, and the added bonus of a beautiful swimming pool made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

July and august are not tourist season in Nepal That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and the setting at Chitwan Village Resort. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and we had a patio overlooking the beautiful garden area. The food was amazing and affordable, and the tour guide Suris was very thoughtful and conscientious. Raj, the manager, went above and beyond when I accidentally left my passport behind in the room. He quickly arranged to have it shipped to my hotel in Kathmandu with a private driver. I am forever grateful!

Awesome place to stay for Chitwan National Park - rooms are great with hot water and nets, tranquil quiet garden setting and the owner Raj is incredible and will do everything he can to enhance your time here. Super friendly family guy, hardworking, will even pick you up and drop off to bus station. Absolute legend. Glad we stayed here and can highly recommend.

The river and national park view was outstanding , such a quiet and peaceful place in chitwan sauraha, we saw 2 rhinos on our first night stay, such helpful staff , delicious food , and a clean room. Highly recommend.
