Lovely place lovely garden simple but nice atmosphere. Clean bathroom and well wifi Connection. Near fewa lake with other tourist activities. Value for money. I have booked one night but stayed here weak. Now not so much tourist in this City so if you looking long time staying this is the best option you can get good price. they have also trekking and tour travel itinerary package if need you can ask in reception.

Everything :) The staff always were able to help you with anything. From negotiating cab fees to walking with you to a souvenir shop. I reached pohkara.at 12 midnight. I informed the hotel via booking.com to inform that my bus is very late. It was 12 midnight and I had someone waiting at pohkara bus stop to pick me up. AND they were extremely responsive via the chat It was reassuring :) Extremely grateful. :) The hotel is just walking distance from phewa lake. On the roof top you can see machaprae mountain if the skies are clear. From my balcony I had a view if the lake. :)

I highly recommend Little Pilgrim Lodge. One of the best things is the lake is within walking distance and also the view from the balcony is amazing. On top of it, the owner, Mr. Vishnu takes the hospitality to another level, he is always ready to help and he is a very resourceful person. The couple, Mr. Vishnu and his wife are very friendly and make you feel like home. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure my convenience. Thank you for that. The reception and breakfast area is beautifully decorated and is always kept clean and tidy. My room was a good size with a comfortable bed, running hot water, ample natural light and a balcony. As the property is a block inside from the main road, there's not much road noise and it's usually very calm. I'd definitely stay here again when I visit Pokhara later this year.

Sometimes, you find a place that's more than just a spot on a map. Barang Village Homestays is one of those special places. Tucked away in a beautiful part of Nepal, this homestay is a stone's throw from the busy city life of Pokhara lakeside. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and open hearts. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and made sure I felt right at home. Their friendliness and generosity is something that I will always remember and cherish. This homestay is like a quiet corner in a painting. To one side, you can see the tall and majestic Annapurna, Fishtail, and Manaslu mountains. On the other, you can look out over a sea of green hills, dotted with bright little villages that twinkle like stars at night. Being able to spend time with the local people was a special treat. I got to join them in daily tasks like gathering leaves for their animals, cooking yummy local food, and even making homemade yogurt. It felt more like a fun day out with friends, rather than work. The homestay organized fun trips to a nearby waterfall and river, as well as tours around the village. We also had lots of fun engaging with the kids of the village. What I loved most about the homestay is the family that runs it. They are so warm and welcoming, it feels like you've known them for ages. Their three-bedroom house is comfy and cozy. Barang Village Homestays is a lovely place to take a break and experience the simple beauty of everyday life. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there and the wonderful memories I made. If you're looking for a taste of real Nepali village life, this is the perfect place. Book a stay here and get ready for an adventure you'll never forget.

The views of the Annapurna mountain range are incredible.

The views of the Annapurna mountain range are incredible. The World Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot Shiva Statue offer amazing views over Pokhara, the only negative about both these locations is peoples complete lack of respect with garbage - so many people just chucking bottles and sweets wrappers to the side of the footpaths. Pokhara is a good starting point for hiking or if you want an easier view of the mountains the microlight and plane flights are a great (but quite pricey) option!

Pokhara is a great place to visit. The place is much cleaner than kathmandu. The scenery of the place is just breathtaking. I liked the lakes including phewa lake and also the mountains. As a muslim I looked for halal restaurants which was not difficult to find. It took about eight & half hours to reach pokhara from kathmandu. Yet, the journey was not tiring coz I enjoyed the sceneries of the way to pokhara. I stayed at hotel Grand Holiday which is in peaceful street. The street is indeed peaceful. There was absolute tranquility around the place which I liked very much. I will always long to be in Pokhara again.

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to...

I had four days there and used the time to hike up to hilltop temples and do some kayaking on the lake. The south side of the lake is much quieter and pleasant walking in the shade of the trees. I was shocked at the amount of litter on the lakeside path by Pokhara. It’s no worse than anywhere else in Nepal but seemed such a shame at an attractive holiday place next to a watercourse. I wish I had taken a bag and collected litter for half hour a day, odd as it would have looked.

Vibrant city - great boat trip to the Stupa, with a 1 hour...

Vibrant city - great boat trip to the Stupa, with a 1 hour steep climb rewarded with great views. Recommend Camelia Cafe for gentle relaxing vibe, good food and great service. Boomerang cafe has lovely garden seating with views of the lake, and Nepali traditional dancing at night. Try to get to a sunrise viewpoint about 30 mins taxi ride above the city.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside.

Great, chilled out vibe at Lakeside. A great place to prepare for or relax from a trek. Wonderful contrast to Kathmandu. Roadhouse Pizza is incredible and there is a Spanish restaurant at the Disneyland (really) end of Lakeside that does simply wonderful food.

Pokhara is also an English speaking location. there were many cafes, accommodations, and night clubs amidst the souvenirs shops. and i must say, the local are genuinely so friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. this place has lots of potential as a tourist spot to relax and perhaps grow into a yoga hub.

Got an upgraded room with Balcony which was huge and lovely. Location is great and the garden a bliss in busy Pokhara. One of the first hotels in Nepal where I noticed house plants in the lobby, that is how green it was. Breakfast is ok and has some variety between the days. Food can be ordered to the room as well. Stayed longer than intended in the end. Did not try out the trekking service (in the lobby with own desk) but it seems very organized.

Everything! Lakeside is just few minutes of walking, grocery stores and restaurants are near by. Payment option is very convenient, by card which is rare in Nepal except in big hotels maybe. Hot water is so wonderful 24/7! And, lastly Buddhi is an excellent guide for trekking with a lot, I mean a lot of patience for someone like me (very slow). The best package for accommodations and for experiences.

Hôtel K2 is among the best hotels we’ve been to in Nepal and from far the cleanest one! The host will do everything he can to make sure you enjoy your stay. The hotel is situated 1 minute away from the Main Street and 15 minutes walk to the Lakeside area which is perfect because it is quiet and still close to the city center. We highly recommend it!

A beautiful and tranquil hotel in lakeside. We were very impressed with the service we received from start to finish. The staff were exceptional. The pool was a lovely place to relax and gym was well kitted out. Our room was very clean, huge and had an awesome view over Pokhara.
