Tucked away in a beautiful part of Nepal, this homestay is a stone's throw from the busy city life of Pokhara lakeside. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and open hearts. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and made sure I felt right at home. Their friendliness and generosity is something that I will always remember and cherish. This homestay is like a quiet corner in a painting. To one side, you can see the tall and majestic Annapurna, Fishtail, and Manaslu mountains. On the other, you can look out over a sea of green hills, dotted with bright little villages that twinkle like stars at night. Being able to spend time with the local people was a special treat. I got to join them in daily tasks like gathering leaves for their animals, cooking yummy local food, and even making homemade yogurt. It felt more like a fun day out with friends, rather than work. The homestay organized fun trips to a nearby waterfall and river, as well as tours around the village. We also had lots of fun engaging with the kids of the village. What I loved most about the homestay is the family that runs it. They are so warm and welcoming, it feels like you've known them for ages. Their three-bedroom house is comfy and cozy. Barang Village Homestays is a lovely place to take a break and experience the simple beauty of everyday life. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there and the wonderful memories I made. Hostess was wonderful, the view is incredible of the Himalayas, and the food was well cooked.

The owner was very helpful. The property has exceptional mountain views. Watching the rays of the sun on snow claded mountains were breath taking. The rooms are mountain facing.

New hotel, RJ boutique is a paradise in ghandruk village. Hotel is super nice and luxury, the view of Annapurna and fishtail is just in front. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Recommended.

Mone's Mountain View is a litte hotel in Ghachok. It's being run by Krishna and his family. Both, Krishna and his brother are excellent guides and can take guests on hikes in the region. We enjoyed their company and knowledge very much. The food is excellent and freshly prepared by Krishna's wife Santa. The views of the mountain range are spectacular. Also, Ghachok is by far less touristic than Ghandruk. For those who want to learn more about Nepal and life in rural areas, this is the perfect spot.

Breakfast was good and location was also fine. Staff members were friendly.
