We would get freshly prepared local Nepali food which was absolutely delicious! They have a wide selection of authentic local food to choose from. If you're in the right season, you can also get to try some fresh local honey! The location of the homestay is great, it is very close to the entrance of the national park. We had a great stay here, and had some incredible wildlife sightings (Rhinos, elephants, tigers, hornbills) thanks to the sharp eyes of Tek Bahadur (fondly called Pappu). Will definitely come to visit again!

Bardiya is an amazing place, and this homestay is the best place from which to discover it. The whole family welcomed us with open arms from the very first moment. Khali is a lovely woman, she took such good care of us, and cooks the best Dal Bhat I’ve ever had. Nanu is a great host, passionate about wildlife and nature, and it’s incredible to venture into the jungle with him and discover its wild animals together. They helped us with everything we needed, made sure to vary the meals (all of them excellent), and we even cooked momos together. We truly hope to come back one day, and to see you all again! Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

10/10 stay! We had such a lovely time at this resort. The facilities were very clean and comfortable - really great value. The gardens and terrace were so so nice to sit out and relax, read, or play cards. The food was always delicous. We also really enjoyed the sunrise from the deck! The location was perfect. Only 5 minutes from the park entrance. But my favourite was the riverfront spot to watch the sunset. We actually saw 3 tigers on our first day here only a 15 minute walk from the resort! Amazing!! Anil was very welcoming and available to assist at any time and was very pleasant to deal with. He arranged for a jeep safari into the jungle which we loved as well as a night in a treehouse in the jungle - super cool! We stayed for a week but wish we had longer.

From start to finish I can just say that I had a wonderful time at Mr B's Place. The property is situated in a beautiful location right next to the entrance of Bardia National Park. I opted mainly for local food and that was delicious. The guided walks into the park were great and the guides were attentive and very knowledgeable. It was a privilege to see bengal tigers and indian rhino in the wild like that and the evening talks around the fireplace will stay long in the memory bank. I will definitely recommend Mr B's Place to friends and family. Thank you for a great time.
