Very helpful and informative staff. The check-in was very smooth. Even the live band that was being played was an icing on the cake . Within a few hours I was contemplating extending my stay (spoiler: I did...) - this apartment is set within a stunning landscape that never creased to amaze every time the view caught my eye. The apartment itself is lovely and I was very comfortable and relaxed during my stay. There are lovely walks in the area and there's clearly plenty to do, particularly in/through nearby Voss. Unni was a great host: responsive and friendly, and provided helpful tips on the surrounding area. I hope to visit again soon! .

Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.

Nice place, good breakfast, employees spoke English fairly well and were nice. Very good location on the lake. Recommend requesting a room away from the elevator as it’s extremely loud and will keep you awake if you don’t have ear plugs.

Voss is clearly the sporting capital of Norway whether it is Summer or Winter. Everything is in easy reach. Hotel was adjacent to the Gondola, Railway Station, Tourist information centre & close to lake & town. Our stay was in a traditional room with view of the lake. Perfect blend of traditional and modern. It had the singularly most advanced en-suite facilities I have ever used. Japanese technology & German manufacturing. Wonderful balcony for a couple to relax in. Room size was to USA standard with seating for 5, writing bureau, 55 inch TV, etc. Swimming Pool with personal lockers. Didn’t use the restaurant but bar meals were good with range of local beers. A number of individual reception rooms for quiet times, reading or family discussion. Staff are efficient & welcoming. Highly Recommended

One of the best stop over points with all possible tourist...

One of the best stop over points with all possible tourist attractions in the fjord area. Voss by itself has quite a lot of activities to fill up your family vacation for more than 3 to 4 days like Rafting, Gorge hike , hiking in general , Gondol to mountain and back. You can travel in either directions away from Voss to two different fjords with outstanding views.

Easy to get to from Bergen by train, bus or car - right into a beautiful hiking and skiing location. The city itself is flat and easy to get around, with many small cafes and restaurants. There are some very nice shops selling hiking equipment. If you plan a ahead, you can coordinate buses or local train to hiking destinations just outside the city so you can be car free for your time here.

A very pleasant little town with a beautiful lake.

A very pleasant little town with a beautiful lake. Right in the center, near the train station, there's a gondola lift that takes you up the mountain and takes in the views. There are at least two grocery stores in town open until 11 p.m. I recommend the American-style pizza at Peppes Pizzeria.

Excellent services! We missed our flight, so everything has to be rearranged. The hotel staff tried their best to welcome us even we arrived at 3am! The beds are as we requested, the room is big and clean. The breakfast is fantastic. It absolutely calmed us down from the messy beginning start of our holiday and made us really enjoy the rest of our times. Thanks a lot!

The large grassland in front of the room and the peaceful and beautiful lake view. A simple kitchen. Generally clean. Comfortable beds. Extremely quiet. Hotel breakfast (required an extra fee, paid at the hotel reception and pre booking was not needed). Car could be parked at the back of room - very convenient!
