We stayed at this hotel by accident, because the road to Bergen was closed. We were delighted with the beauty and coziness of the hotel! The view from the room is stunning - you can see the slope of the hills where people go skiing in winter. The room was spacious. I especially want to draw attention to the fact that the room has heating (not a fan coil, but a full-fledged water heating radiator), and at the end of June it was turned on! It was cool outside, so the room was very warm and cozy! This is simply top class! The breakfast is very varied and delicious! Again, you sit with a panoramic view and enjoy the food. Special thanks to the girl at the reception: she had a very stressful situation, many guests and calls, but she remained very friendly! This is worth a lot!

the resort owner Elisabeth is so kind and helpfull that even 100 points wouldn't be enough to evaluate her kindness and helpfullness.you can reach her to ask something and she answers so quickly.the appartment itself is georgeus,so cosy and comfy.evertyhing you need and more is avaliable.coffee machine saved our days.the balcony with seating area has a georgeus view.the location is very convenient. 30 min to Flåm.there are 5 cahrging stations for electric cars which literally saved our journey.there's a washing machine and a dryer in the basement and it's easy to use.don't forget to follow the instructions and celan up the dryer.a dishwasher is also avaliable in the kitchen.you have everything you need to cook your own meal.the bed and pilows are very comfy.if we visit this area again we will definitely stay here again.so quiet and peacefull neighborhood.Thank you again Elisabeth.we highly recommend this place!

It was a charming and cozy hotel with good breakfasts and a scenic lake nearby. A true salvation for us on our way to Flåm and beyond. It’s a great pit stop between some of the most popular destinations like Flåm and others — and I think this hotel is just right. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay rather than luxury.

Pathetic.. Avoid it if possible. No value for money at all. We booked a triple room and it was allocated in another building; which little away from main building with reception. Seemed like it was a make-shift arrangement to accommodate the booking. Building was in pathetic condition and sounded like no one had stayed there in last few months (may be a year). * No WiFi at all - we repeatedly requested but we got only false commitment that someone will come and fix it. But nothing happened * No TV (they had TV but not way to plug the power). How someone can fix the TV at the spot where you can not get the power? * Surprisingly room was very cold, I don't know may be due to leakage or may be its due to located in the basement or something else (although it was July). * Very basic breakfast options with very limited options and we had to ask the staff for every single thing such as milk, bread etc. * Staff seemed confusing, with no idea what to help with or no motivation to help perhaps. Overall the stay was like a punishment.. One could get better options for the rate we paid. This hotel lacks even a very basic amenities.

Very large and spacious room, huge bathroom, Free parking right next to the hotel, we paid for dinner - a buffet - the best meal we ever ate, a choice of many types of meat, the chef himself cut the meat for you, the best roasted vegetables I've ever eaten - this was the best idea! There is nothing to complain about this hotel
