We spent a magical few days here on the Nordfjord. The property is perfectly situated if you’re planning to do the Hornelen via Ferrata which you have a terrific view of from the bedroom. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the start point. Gunnhild and Steffen are exceptional hosts. Warm and friendly and helpful with everything. The apartment is wonderfully appointed with everything you might need. The bigger property is fabulous with a lovely spot for BBQs or to take your morning coffee overlooking the water. Don’t worry if the weather is bad (or if the midges are out) - the area has so much to offer. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Really unique place, beautiful quiet surroundings, right next to the water. We loved sitting in the “balcony” and looking out at the water. The place had everything we needed and the perfect quiet atmosphere. The area is stunning - with plenty of great daytrips.

This hotel is great. The building, the rooms, the staff... Everything is perfect. Beds are super confortable, rooms are quiet, and last but not least, the breakfast is one of the best I had in a hotel. I'd recommend a zillion times

Located in the most western town in Scandinavia, we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and remote town. Quiet hotel, we also booked the dinner (it comes from a bistro nearby) and it was really good!. The hotel has also a wide play room in the basement with billiards and ping-pong table, and a TV with couches. Kids enjoyed Disney+ movie, and we spend a lot of time in that room. Breakfast was amazing (the very best after ten nights in different hotels in Norway) and the staff was very helpful (e.g. we asked to freeze some ice cubes for our mobile fridge). Huge TV in the room!
