We must admit we were a little worried about this hotel after having read some of the reviews, but we were extremely impressed with our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower room was simple, but it was perfectly clean and there was always plenty of hot water. The big " plus" for the hotel was the whole atmosphere the owners and staff have created - friendly and welcoming. The entrance , lounge and dining areas are stripped back and simple but it all works well. Breakfast service was a surprise ( as we thought there was no breakfast) - coffee and fresh, warm croissants - and one of the best views down the Fjord in Balestrand - what's not to like?

I think it is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed. Very spacious with really well thought layout. View of the fjord from large well equipped balcony to spend the evening on. Despite next to harbour absolutely quiet. We only wished we stayed longer as area is phenomenal

The apartment is amazing. Really cozy and beautiful with everything you need. Beautiful yard with outside furniture to spend time and play around, some board games inside, and overall great place with a good view. The host was also happy very helpful.
