Excellent hotel & loved the sauna. The dinner was absolutely worthwhile & breakfast was delicious. Loved that the location was out of Tromso but not too far.

House of Ellie was fantastic. It is located at the end of a fjord so the anpartment and bedroom window looks across the fjord. We were there for almost midnight sun and Ellie set up chairs for us outside when we arrived. Spectacular views. It’s also located next to our favourite Tromso cafe. The room was very clean, extremely comfortable and had a fridge. Ellie was so helpful and very responsive to messages. We liked it so much that we’ve booked again for our return to Tromso in a few weeks.

We had an amazing stay! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The apartment was so clean and tidy, and they even left some sweet gifts for us when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed—spices, sugar, tea, you name it—so we could cook with ease. And the view… wow, it was incredible! Mountains and sea, just perfect. Highly recommend!
