Overall very clean,no dust even upon the shelves.Hot water with good pressure,heating.No bad smells,No insects,flies,mosquitos.,Very quiet day-night.Perfect view to the fjord,from our balcony.We stayed off-season,April.The region is perfect for relaxing-fishing,has a bay on sight.Driving Risor 20min..All at the kitchenette works,big refrigerator.Good beds and comfort.Cabin maybe small and little old but all is very practical.Good sofa for relaxing.Dinning table and chairs.Tv works,connection to WiFi is good.Plenty sockets.Parking next to the cabin.Easy late check-in at 21.00.

Risør is a very nice and idyllic small town to stroll around. Every season has its charm and great views from Risørflekken. Great shopping opportunities, always stop by Embla (homemade jewelry and other gift items). Lovely food at Sardinfabrikken, and enjoy a drink at the Scottish pub Peterhead.

Risør is a fantastic town, and incredibly cozy with all the white wooden houses. In the summer, the gardens are incredibly beautiful with all the flowers. The whole town just oozes charm and coziness, wonderfully located by the sea🤩❤️

Beautiful whitewashed town with lots of cozy places to be. Nice outdoor area, but lots of nice cafes and places to eat. It's easy to get around town on foot. No long distances. I'd love to go back to Risør.

The location of the city at the very end of the bay behind...

The location of the city at the very end of the bay behind several small and large islands. Idyllic small streets, roads with white wooden houses. Flowers in pots and beds. Great church where we were given a tour by ThomasJuell who also told us about the city's history. Nice information at various sights. Many varied hiking opportunities on foot and by bike + spectacular viewpoints.

Risør was an incredibly nice town with its wooden houses, we went for a walk up to Urheia and it can be highly recommended, there were also many restaurants to choose from, many were right down by the water and had great views over the water. We were lucky with the weather and had nice temperatures.

Great hosts, easy communication. The house was pre-warmed, which was nice when we arrived late on a Friday evening. We have stayed here twice before and each year there are new improvements. Basement has had a makeover since the last time. We enjoyed our stay, as always. Everything you need is supplied and the place is cozy and comfortable. The house is in a residential area, close to grocery stores and an easy drive to downtown Risør.

If you want to get away from all-the-same hotel experiences and get a classic style home feeling this is the place to stay. I instantly felt welcomed in everything, from exceptionally friendly host to a cozy interior and thought out little details. The surroundings are also superb, we even stayed for longer then initially planned to enjoy the views and to hike in the woods.

Lovely hotel in Risør. They were very accommodating of our late check in. We stayed in one of their 2 bedroom suites, which is a separate apartment next to the reception building. It was extremely spacious, well appointed and had absolutely everything needed. The included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend a stay here.

Easy check in, comfortable, clean and well equipped rooms with a lovely sea view. Excellent breakfast, great quality and variety. Our server was very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Risør and our stay at the Risør Hotel.
