We had a short but very pleasant stay in this beautiful historic building. Room was nice and clean, and reception was very friendly and helpful. Sakrisøy is also located near two of the most often photographed and beautiful locations in Lofoten (yellow cabin and Hamnøy, a short walk to the latter). Overall, a highly recommend stay!

The location was great, and the hotel had such a lovely character. The kitchen is small but functional, however the dining room and living room were very spacious. The bedroom size was perfect for what we needed, and the bathrooms were very clean and modern. Overall a great stay!

Absolutely everything was perfect. The house is beautiful and beautifully located right by the water in Reine. It stands on its own a little bit away from the other houses and is thus very quiet. It is well and nicely furnished and equipped, everything worked perfectly. We did not see anyone at check-in but all went smoothly. The staff answered quickly and efficiently to our requests and questions via e-mail and we eventually met someone (sorry, forgot the name) who came quickly at our rescue as we failed to find how to blind the windows at "night"!The location is excellent for hiking and exploring the island. Easy parking (free) and washing-machine-dryer. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.

Perfect spot.

Perfect spot. Very quiet as there was only a few cabins near by but still close enough to things that are going on. Views were amazing from the cabin with a decked seating at the front of the property with views of the sea and the mountains. Just beautiful. We ate at Anita’s restaurant. We also ate from a take away cabin in Flakstadoya, well worth going there. It was delicious. Sorry we didn’t have time to kayak in Reine

Beautiful town!

Beautiful town! Try to be there when there aren't tour busses full of people. During the summer and the midnight sun it's really pleasant at night. Our highlight was hiking the Reinebringen - twice! Once at night, once in the morning. We also watched for orcas, which we heard were sighted pretty often that week but we didn't see them. Highly recommend staying at the Sakrisoy Gjestegård but it's easiest to get around if you have a car.

The excellent location and spacious unit Near public transport. The buses stop just outside. They should do something about the fire alarm which goes off at slight cooking. Otherwise excellent property great views.

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need...

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need to plan carefully on how to get around on the buses, and use the Reis app. We stayed on Sakriskoy which has 2 excellent restaurants. The Underhuset run by a very welcoming Mexican proprietor who cooks marvellously, and Anita's seafood.

This is the best apartment we’ve stayed in while visiting Lofoten! The host’s thoughtfulness shows in every detail of the room’s arrangement. The bright room features a harmonious color scheme that creates a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped with everything we needed. Parking in the yard was also convenient. Waking up to stunning views just by opening the curtains was a delightful experience for us. This accommodation made our stay comfortable, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

The location of the house and the village of Reine in general are one of the best and most impressive in Lofoten. Ocean in the east and vast mountains with a Fjord in all other directions. The house is partly modernized and some rooms like the living room are quite new while some others are older. While the house is definitely not in perfect shape, it fully met our expectations and had enough space for our family to ensure a pleasant stay.

Loved the deluxe studio with a terrace offering an incredible view of the sea and mountains. There are supermarkets nearby, and it’s perfectly located for hiking. I’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time. Our stay in Lofoten was one of the best trip we had thanks to Sakrisoy Rorbuer. Thanks again !!

The hotel is central in Reine, so it's perfect. Also, it's near from Reinebringen. The self check-in is easy and you can come at the time you want because they send the code to your room during the day, so you don't need to meet the staff. The breakfast is good too.
