The apartment was very clean and comfortable! The room is the perfect size for a solo traveler. My room had a beautiful view from the bathroom. I wasn't able to see the northern lights from my room, but I was able to see them out of apartment ! It's close to the bus stop and restaurant (I wasn't able to eat dinner once as it closes early in the evening, be careful of the opening hours). I needed to catch the 7am ferry and the bus for that had disappeared so the owner sent me to the Moskenes ferry terminal. thank you.

Everything! The best place i have ever stayed in Norway! Beauty, charm, views, attention to detail, cosiness, authenticity, natural materials, everything was awesome! Both rooms and common spaces are so beautiful and inviting!! And the host Runhild is amazing!!! She offers free Yoga in the morning (it was great!) and normally kayaking in the sea, but that day it was too windy. It is a fantastic place and i will surely come back!!!

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group...

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.

Perfect spot.

Perfect spot. Very quiet as there was only a few cabins near by but still close enough to things that are going on. Views were amazing from the cabin with a decked seating at the front of the property with views of the sea and the mountains. Just beautiful. We ate at Anita’s restaurant. We also ate from a take away cabin in Flakstadoya, well worth going there. It was delicious. Sorry we didn’t have time to kayak in Reine

Beautiful town!

Beautiful town! Try to be there when there aren't tour busses full of people. During the summer and the midnight sun it's really pleasant at night. Our highlight was hiking the Reinebringen - twice! Once at night, once in the morning. We also watched for orcas, which we heard were sighted pretty often that week but we didn't see them. Highly recommend staying at the Sakrisoy Gjestegård but it's easiest to get around if you have a car.

The excellent location and spacious unit Near public transport. The buses stop just outside. They should do something about the fire alarm which goes off at slight cooking. Otherwise excellent property great views.

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need...

Reine is a spectacular location but without a car you need to plan carefully on how to get around on the buses, and use the Reis app. We stayed on Sakriskoy which has 2 excellent restaurants. The Underhuset run by a very welcoming Mexican proprietor who cooks marvellously, and Anita's seafood.

location location and location ! the hotel is at perfect location to get best of Lofoten view and aurora photos, staff is very friendly and helpful. I like the roof glass window that you can see if any aurora. we saw aurora at 1pm but if was faint one, I would imagine it would be very great view if I can get strong aurora that night. the hotel is in middle between A city and some landscape to Svolvaer, hence I would stay longer there if I travel to Lofoten as base camp, instead split my stay at other location.

The location of the house and the village of Reine in general are one of the best and most impressive in Lofoten. Ocean in the east and vast mountains with a Fjord in all other directions. The house is partly modernized and some rooms like the living room are quite new while some others are older. While the house is definitely not in perfect shape, it fully met our expectations and had enough space for our family to ensure a pleasant stay.
