Excellent place to stay in the Arctic! The perfect cozy climate inside, complimentary tea & coffee which helps you to warm yourself after roaming in the city and surroudings. One of the guys from the personnel even advised us when seeing some extraordinary polar lights to come out - and we've got a show of our life. Neat clean bathrooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. The hotel itself is close to some attractions and the city center. Would definitely recommend! The restaurant Vinterhagen is an additional gem - I enjoyed the seal steak and my wife the vegan option. Should I come back to Longyearbyen - I would definitely choose Mary-Ann Polarrig again :) Keep doing good job!

Fabulous sitting areas, which were very welcoming and comfortable to read a book and have a cup of coffee or glass of wine will chat with others. Excellent pressure in the shower, comfortable Accommodation. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the staff were fabulous .

Everything was awesome. The team at Basecamp treated was so kindly we felt like at home after 1st moment. The chef turned me from a tost fan to a Eggs Benedict fan. I will miss every moment from the time we walked into the reception until our pick-up back to the airport. Thank you all for such a great experience.

A quiet place to relax and enjoy your stay. The standard room is big and comfortable, warm with heavy curtains to block the sunlight. The staff were very kind and helpful with whatever we needed. The breakfast had a large variety of goodies and the place itself has a stunning view and a cozy feeling. The Nansen restaurant inside the hotel serves delicious food.

The hotel location is in the city center walking distance to almost everything , it's a major plus for us. The breakfast was good. The room and bed was comfortable. They gave us a sandwich in the last day coz our flight is too early and therefore can't avail the breakfast, that was very thoughtful. I'd love to stay here again next time we visit svalbard.
