An absolutely wonderful hotel with its own unique history and character. The location is excellent – close to everything yet peaceful. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel truly at home. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The atmosphere of the hotel has a special charm that makes you want to stay longer. It’s the kind of place you’ll remember fondly and want to return to.

Lovely house, well equipped what u can need they arranged, feeling Norweigen in the Nature of Flam. And also the owner family of the house is living so close and very helpful as much as she could be. Refurbished rooms and areas with a nod to the hotel's history. Dining room had its original ceiling murals and wallpaper and adjacent rooms had historic furniture. The three course dinner was fabulous. We have stayed at several of the Norwegian historic hotels (De Historiske) the last couple of years, and the dinner we were served was the best so far.
