I was very happy with a friendly and helpful hotel reception...

I was very happy with a friendly and helpful hotel reception and a well informed manager. I had been upgraded to a better room at their initiative. Happy with that! And a very good breakfast - much more than I need in the morning. Great location for a ski vacatiion with ski area shuttlebus stopping close by if you need it. You can take your last run all the way down close to the hotel. Good local restaurants and bars very close by - less than a minute out the door. The hotel used to be the local hub before new construction at the resort base was developed. I have skied and arranged many ski trips with friends and colleagues to Hemsedal since 1986, staying at the hotel on several occasions and have many good memories from after ski and dinners at the hotel amongst the other possibilities "downtown" Hemsedal.

Love Hemsedal! Perfect ski resort. Good facilities. Have skied there a lot both down hill and cross country. Love the international feel. Great sports and interior stores. In general very friendly people. Nothing negative comes to mind!

From the hotel, you can take several hikes, ranging from easy to challenging. The summer months are lovely and quiet; it's more of a winter sports destination. The hinterland is also beautiful; we drove the Panoramavegen, highly recommended!

Hemsedal is good… Will be back soon🤗 Skistar has nice facilities. Ate both on the ski slopes and at a restaurant in the center. Lots of people on the slopes, bad skiing conditions with lots of mounds and wet snow. Were difficult conditions for our skiing.. Sunday was the best day⛷️🤗

Fantastic nature.

Fantastic nature. Offers all kinds of outdoor activities both summer and winter. Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, golf, fishing, all kinds of skiing in winter. The area has many good restaurants with the new Nordic cuisine on the menu.

Well-groomed ski slopes like this at the end of the season. No lift queues or congestion on the slopes. Good lift capacity. They have expanded a lot in recent years (too much??) The range of accommodation, restaurants and eateries has increased.

Everything about this hotel was A M A Z I N G. The views, the food, the SPA!!!, the staff. I could never imagine that the quality of everything would’ve been that high. It’s so price worthy & it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at. I have no words. It’s magical in every way. The view from the restaurant (the view from anywhere in this hotel) was insane. I am definitely coming back! (Also the most comfortable bed EVER!!!!!) can’t recommend this enough 🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️

The hotel itself is very cool and stylish, the breakfast was perfect - wide range of products, not too crowded (despite the high season) as the breakfast venue is quite big. Views over the valley are stunning. It is pure pleasure sitting in Liv restaurant. The location is also very convenient - across the street there is a lift to the trails. Ski in, ski out. Nice and convenient lockers. All very user friendly.

The apartment is overall very cozy and clean, and in a very peaceful location. A good place to stay if you do not want to be in the busy and crowded resort area. Good kitchen for cooking. Easy parking and Wi-Fi worked great. The Hemsedal village center is a couple mins walk away so easy access to grocery shops and a couple restaurants and cafes.

Good location near Hemsedal ski resort, free parking. Nice apartment with the place for 7 people. Good heating. Sauna in the apartment was the main reason to chose this apartment, it was necessary after skiing. There was a nice fireplace with the wood. The kitchen was good equipped.
