The location was quiet and peaceful. The buses were regular and the supermarket was nearby. The staff were in regular email contact and the facilities were good. The space was big but cosy. There were reindeer outside and the snow was pretty. The views on the lake were stunning. We will be back.

This is a very roomy and comfortable recently renovated apartment. Great value for Norway. From here there is a cycle path all the way to Tromso.

Very nice and well equipped house on a beautiful location. Very cozy, and even though we were with 9 people it was very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and kind. The price was also very reasonable.

Lovely place and all very functional and comfortable as well as stylish. View was amazing and perfect for relaxing and having needed time-out from busy lives. Hosts were very responsive to questions via whatsapp and helped resolve issues (couldn't figure out how to open the window fully). Get the 42 bus from the airport in direction Eidkjosen to avoid expensive taxi (we paid nearly €50). You can download the app Troms Billet easily and buy a single ticket at the stop for 440 NOK and it's valid for 1.5 hr. Stops are announced on the bus and you can get off at Aslandvegen.

Clean modern property in peaceful area, easy to drive North a few km to get to a good dark parking area to see aurora (cloud permitting!). Bus-stop very close if you enjoy using the bus. Comfy bed.

Lena and Rolf are very friendly and warm hosts. They gave me lots of tips, for example for ski touring. Communication was easy and questions were answered quickly. The apartment is well and comfortably furnished, all the necessary things are there, the kitchen equipment is well equipped, I did not miss a dishwasher, you can easily do the dishes by hand. It is well heated and the bedroom windows can be darkened. The TV is connected to the internet via WLAN with a very good data rate. The location is central for excursions on Kvaløya. The bus station is about a 15 minute walk away, and there is a parking lot right next to it, even if it is usually full! Shopping at "Eidehandel", about 2 km from the apartment. When it snows again, the landlord clears the paths to the house and the guest parking lot next to the garage. The best way to visit Tromsø is by bus and not by rental car, it takes about 1 hour to get to the center. Search and book tickets with the Svipper app, approx. 2.40 EUR to 4.80 EUR (rush hour) per trip, depending on the time of day. The city toll costs about 14 EUR per entry by car, or more depending on the length of your stay! And there is no free parking in the city center. Ski tourers can find routes in the "Outdooractive app" and the North Norwegian "skiguide app", an offshoot of the "SKIDA app". In the apartment you will also find the DNT ski touring book "Vinterturboka Tromsø" - a great service, thank you very much!
