What a wonderful place! It sits in a small village literally at the end of the road, set between beautiful hills and facing another village across the fjord, which is the most pictureque setting imaginable. Very quiet and peaceful, but not lonely, which I appreciated a lot as I was travelling alone. I knew people would look out for me, and that I could call anytime I needed anything. The rooms are modern, new and well appointed, the bed was excellent, very big with a new, comfortable mattress and super cosy. The bathroom was modern with a floor level shower and nice floor heating - just the thing after a night out trying to catch the aurora. There's a shared kitchen with a nice place to sit and a coffee machine which became my best friend as I was out chasing northern lights every single night. 😂 The kitchen is super useful and has everything you could ever need. The owners, Kjersti and Lars, are wonderful and helpful, I felt right at home with them and I was sad to leave. But I'll be back! It doesn't get any better if you like scenery, northern lights, peace and quiet and comfort.

We liked everything. This place is an absolute gem. We were on a wild camping trip through Norway and we were absolutely stoked to end the trip in this cabin. Amazing views over the fjords, extremely well equipped, cosy lighting and a very helpful host. You get more than what you pay for. Also has the extremely cute village Foldvik nearby.

The views are incredible. Such a relaxing and peaceful place off the beaten track. Good size for a couple or a family either 2 children. The kitchen is very well equipped. No restaurants and shops close by, but this isn’t a problem if you come prepared. Many nice hiking trails in the area and the ferry to Harstad just 5 min away.
