This is a very charming hotel close to the downtown. The rooms have decent sized beds and good sized washrooms. There is a bar fridge with drinks and a coffee maker provided. A steamer is included for ironing your clothes. The restaurant is amazing. We had an excellent dinner there. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The elevator is large, unlike many places where we have stayed in Europe. Parking is available at the back of the building.

The house was excellent and the view was spectacular. The house was well equipped and the bed really comfortable. I also loved how the host answered all my questions quickly and provided me with everything I needed. I would definitely go there again!

This is a beautiful property in a stunning location that has been carefully designed to maximise the views of the Oslo Fjord from the main living area. The villa was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a very good shower. Ellen, the host was friendly and welcoming, providing timely communications. Thoughtful extras like fresh flowers and a Norwegian cookbook were appreciated. We would highly recommend this property and would be very happy to return if travelling to the area again.

We were not helped by having poor weather and few places are...

We were not helped by having poor weather and few places are at their best in the rain. However, Drobak is very pretty and photogenic. We went into Oslo on the bus one morning. Be aware that, unlike everywhere else in Scandinavia, the bus doesn’t take credit cards! We missed our intended bus trying to find some cash to pay with and then we were told we could buy tickets in a local shop. We visited Oscarburg which is worth the visit. We ate at two of the restaurants in the village - ok but not very Norwegian. There seemed to be pizza on offer everywhere.

The room was a bit small without a chair, had to sit on the...

The room was a bit small without a chair, had to sit on the bed. The bathroom was missing a door for the shower, the room was sprayed when showering. The breakfast was good and the dinner was absolutely perfect. It is easy to get around in Drøbak, a pleasant little holiday town.

Beautiful little town with great architecture and very nice...

Beautiful little town with great architecture and very nice shops! Highly recommend a visit to Fretex; this shop is probably Norway's most delicious second-hand shop run by exceptionally friendly staff! The shrimp sandwich in the square was of the highest quality. Drøbak offers a relaxed and intimate atmosphere; "everything" is gathered in a small area.

The water park is my favorite place in Drøbak, but this year...

The water park is my favorite place in Drøbak, but this year it was being renovated, so I'm looking forward to it reopening. The hot tub with art exhibition is a must, and the cafe at Teskjekjerringa is charming and has good food. Then there's the path/road from the guest boat pier to the marina, incredibly charming. The church is a gem, and the Saturday concerts are a great offer, which I've taken advantage of a lot.

Very cozy Hotel close to the Fjord iwith nice view. The host and employee was very friendly and basically everything was a positive experience. The burger was perfect :)
