We arrived late in the evening so it was dark out, but what a pleasant surprise when we looked out of the window in the morning. We were there in September and it was really quiet everywhere. The apartment has got all you need, we were even able to cook a quick breakfast. It is clean and relatively spacious.

Set a 30-minute hike from the Briksdal Glacier, this mountain lodge offers rooms and cottages with traditional décor and free Wi-Fi access. Stryn village centre is 38 km away.

First, its location is fantastic by sitting right at the entrance of the Briksdalsbre trail. For nature lover it's unbeatable with sights of glacier, waterfall, forest and mountain. The cabin we stayed at bodes well with the environment, with all the modern comforts needed, like bedroom, kitchen, sitting room, cooking facilities, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money too.

We had an amazing holiday! The view was absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect. So peaceful and quiet – just what we needed to relax and unwind. All in all, a fantastic vacation. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! The house is just renovated, very beautiful, close to the glacier and we felt so welcomed! I recommend a lot this place, a must visit.

Tungestølen has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Veitastrond. Guests can have a drink at the bar. The rooms at the hostel are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower.

Olden is a good location to visit the glacier. The house located at a very quite and beautiful place which is definitely recommended. Well-equipped kitchen and machines for laundry (both wash and dry). The host is very nice, very friendly and good service, clearly explaining how to use facilities, lock the door and introducing highlights to see close by Olden. While knowing we need a hair dryer, immediately the host got one from the supermarket for us. Now the house is with hair dryer for the future guests.
