Everything! The place is done with real, genuine care. Every detail is thought through and you can really feel it. The location is also fantastic, i liked it more than Lofoten, but that's very subjective ofc. And the owner is really such a great and kind person!

Very cozy apartment with a nice view of the mountains. It is a very remote place which is the best condition to see northern lights. And yes we saw the northern lights. We were very lucky to stay at this Winter Wonderland. It was nice to have a sauna at this beautiful place. Our Host Joakim was very kind and helpful. We had more than enough wood for the oven to have a warm and cozy atmosphere. We would even come back in summer to relax here.

Extremely cozy and perfectly-situated property on the shore of the fjord, relaxing and serene surrounding. Everything worked perfectly as they should. I couldn't talked highly enough about Rolf-Arne, the host, who instinctly approached our car when we tried to locate the property during heavy snow (blindingly white whichever direction you looked at). He looked after us with treats(ss) and was very thoughtful, knowing we would most likely stucked inside the property during our stay due to adverse weather condition.

This apartment is amazing - the scenery around it is spectacular and there is so much to do, especially with all the equipment provided by the host. Upon arrival the host showed up a range of warm clothes, boots, shoe shoes, sheds and mats to slide down the hills on (which were great fun) - all free to use whenever. This meant there was a lot to do despite the slightly remote location (don’t let this put you off staying here). We also rented the lovely sauna which was set next to the water and had a Bluetooth speaker included. We were lucky and saw the northern lights, but I think part of this was due to the great location - there is a small hill you can climb to get away from all lights and see the northern lights at their best. The apartment itself was warm and cozy with a big living room. The bathroom was great with underfloor heating, and the kitchen had everything you would need. The host was very helpful and generous and had great communication. Would recommend this place to everyone wanting to see a spectacular area about 90 minutes drive out of Tromso!

As most of the previous comments did not describe it well I will try to. The place is 1 hour south from Tromso, in rough conditions it is 90 minutes. It is the best choice for anyone that likes the authentic LOG HOUSE building videos on the internet. But not the fancy "it is a log house from the outside and a 5 star hotel inside". It has 6 single beds separated in 2 rooms a small kitchen a big living and dining room plus and entrance hall. Also there is a nice balcony. The showers, toilets and sauna are in a building right next to the parking space you stop when you arrive. That is another wooden building. From that you have to walk upwards like 30 meters to one of the cabins. For someone loves the sauna and cold shock as I do, it is amazing. From the place we could saw Aurora 3 nights out of 4. They were everywhere, no need for any trip. took amazing photos. We got wood for our fireplace, but you should ask for it, keep in mind. There is also electric heating, work good! Easy to get to and to be found, even during bad weather conditions. There is a shop 15 mins on foot far. We had sauna, (make sure to turn it on outside and inside as well) and dipped in the snow and ice - lovely. You can access it by car and has the chance to see moose, reindeers along the way, we did couple of times. The host was very kind supplied us with anything we asked for + advice, we were also invited to a party. And regular weather condition note. You can reach out via Whatsapp, he will reply quickly.
