Very well equipped and tastefully furnished appartement with very good beding, great views of the landscape incl. Jotunheimen mountains! It was the most comfortable stay on our round trip though Norway! Ingrid & Øyvind are great hosts, thankyou for everything! Beitostolen is a very good place to stay for exploring Jotunheimen, good infrastructure with supermarkets, fuel stations etc. We can highly recommend this wonderful place that felt like home and will definitely come back if we travel through this area of Norway again.

The natural beauty of this place is truly beyond explanation...

The natural beauty of this place is truly beyond explanation—breathtaking landscapes and serene views that leave you in awe. However, getting there was quite the challenge. First, we had to take a bus, then a boat, and finally walk the trail. The hike was demanding, especially because much of it was uphill, requiring a lot of effort. Although parts of the trail were easier to manage, the steep uphill sections were tough, and the downhill portions required careful footing. One area that could be improved is the coordination between the boats and buses. There weren’t enough boats, which made the wait long, and the bus schedules didn't seem to align well with the rest of the journey, causing unnecessary delays. Also, the trail itself could use better maintenance. Certain sections were difficult and confusing to navigate, with little signage to guide the way. Enhancing the trail’s upkeep and providing clearer directions would greatly improve the experience, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination’s natural beauty.

All the way from the airport to Beitostol was just beautiful...

All the way from the airport to Beitostol was just beautiful. The receptionist was waiting for us and she was fast with the check in. The location is great for solo travellers as well as friends or family. There are attractions for kids as well. The supermarket was just across the road and the ski area was about 10 min walk or 3 min by car. Lots of places to eat around. Although , lots of cabins and trailers , the location was really quiet.

Beitostolen is a gem for intermediate skiers and a perfect...

Beitostolen is a gem for intermediate skiers and a perfect destination for families, there is plenty to do beside ski. A good choice of grocery stores if you self cater, a few restaurants and sport shops if you need to buy extra equipment. The ski school office and ski instructors are really friendly and helpful. It is a small but perfectly formed ski resort!

Centrally located and the checkin was easy and there is also online checkin. The apartment is clean and tidy. The TV have some English channels and I think reasonable and I do not understand Norwegian.

Beitostel was a very beautiful place and I wanted to look around so I shoud have stayed in Beitostel longer. But it was the end of my travel and we have to go to Oslo in a hurry. I was so sorry.

Ofcourse - like in those places full of rich, trendy, arrogant people not everything is nice. But - I do not care about those people :) I just focus on good people, beautiful surroundings, mountains, nature, good food and chilling out :)

Cute apartment with a terrace close to the centre of Beitostølen. Decorated very home-like with all the amenities you need! Cross country trails 100 m away from the apartment, skiing slopes a little further. Parking in the garage (not everywhere in the town). Communication with the owner was very friendly and responsive. The store above the apartment is quite convenient and having a washing machine a definitive plus for longer stays. Fair price /great value for money for the area.

We liked everything at this property or apartment, it’s moderately, spacious, clean, stunning views, and it has everything you need for your stay. Picked up keys from the Radisson Blue hotel just few feet from the hotel, instructions were clear for how to get inside and park. We ate at the Italian restaurant in the Riddertunet Leiligheter’s big building which is right behind our building, the food was delicious and reasonable price.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always available to answer all our questions about the place. The spa exceeded our expectations, offering a wonderfully relaxing experience. We had an amazing ski holiday in Beitostølen and would 100% recommend it!
