Unfortunately, it was very rainy so we could not take part in any activities. Although it was noted online that boat tours were available this was not the case -apparently it had been a failed enterprise. The train trip into Andalsnes was spectacular and worth the visit.

The beautiful fjord town, with the turquoise blue Rauma River winding through on one side and the towering peaks on the other. It is very well connected by train to Oslo and by bus to Trollstigen and Molde airport. It is suitable as a campsite for vacations and as a hub for trips to other places.

Trollstigen Resort is located in a pristine, jagged mountain valley. Easy self check-in process. Our bouglow was equipped with everything and couldn't have asked for a better room. You can park the car right next to your room and that is so convenient. There are ample EV chargers in the property that is very helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved evey bit of it. Not to mention the resort is located close to lot of hiking trials. Don't think twice and book Trollstigen Resort if you are planning to visit Andalsnes.

The accomodation is gorgeous!! We absolutely loved it! The bedroom is spacious and our floor had 2 kitchens-in case there are multiple guests, there are no worries about being crowded in one. The room and living room have direct view on the lake which makes the experience even better. The owner was very nice, he showed us around and was always avaliable in case we had questions. If you want to have an amazing experience of Andalsnes, I would defenitely recommend this place!

We had the pleasure of being looked after by a wonderful young man named Marcus. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was was clean, cosy and with a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. A very short walk to the station and shops. Highly recommend the Grand Hotel.
