What a gem of a find! This is a wonderful, classic hotel with lots of old-school charm. My family (young children) and I loved our stay - fantastic staff, wonderful pool, breakfast, and our room was so spacious. My kids loved the playground and zipline. Quite the memorable stay and we hope to be back one day!

It was a very relaxing stay for us, you can enjoy the sun all day long and you have everything you need. (In our case, for a couple travelling with a dog) It is clear the owners put a lot of love in it, everything is clean and in good shape. You must prepare a bit, for a stay without running water, but that is pretty easy to manage. It is calm, but not too remote, some good places for groceries, dining (simple, but good) and coffee nearby. Also contact with the host was fast and pleasant.

Charming hotel and very nice hosts !! When we arrived we had a nice talk with the receptionist and he told us about the giant serpent legend of the lake nearby. The whole hotel has a very nice atmosphere and the breakfast was perfect thank you !! Seljord is a nice little town :)
