"The house was very clean and cozy, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hostess was very hospitable. It's also conveniently located if you're coming from Giethoorn, making it an ideal spot! If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

It was not in the centre of giethoorn, so it was nice and quiet. The room was absolutely beautifull. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The room was clean and tidy.

Zwartsluis has a harbor, you can stroll along the waterfront...

Zwartsluis has a harbor, you can stroll along the waterfront, and linger in restaurants. It's also very beautifully situated. The Tulip Route is easily accessible. Amsterdam is within reach for a day trip.

A beautiful hotel.

A beautiful hotel. The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely view. However, the bathroom was old, and the tiles in the shower were chipped and dirty. There was mold around the seams. Not the kind of place you'd take a nice shower in. We honestly had dinner there.

Beautiful and well-maintained accommodation. Great location on the water. Definitely recommended. Friendly welcome. It's great that there's a restaurant nearby; the peeled potato is also highly recommended.

Great hotel to stay overnight, with a restaurant right on...

Great hotel to stay overnight, with a restaurant right on the water, which makes the delicious food even more enjoyable. But two minor drawbacks. 1. The desk chair was still dirty from the previous occupants; it clearly hadn't been removed from under the desk. 2. The staff varied: very friendly and spontaneous, but also a few grumpy ones, perhaps just having a bad day.

A small, down-to-earth harbor town (in the past) nestled in beautiful countryside. Near Giethoorn, the Wieden, Weerribben, and Zwolle. Perfect for water sports enthusiasts, cyclists, and those seeking culture (Zwolle). Be sure to cycle to Vollenhove for a freshly smoked eel sandwich.

The Blue Houseboat was a very different experience to a normal hotel/b&b in a good way. Being on the water was very relaxing, quiet & peaceful. The location was great with a few choices for restaurants.
