Absolutely stunning 400 year old home renovated into a boutique hotel. Wolfe was exceptional on arrival and the rooms are large, beautifully furnished and the marble bathroom are bliss. All this and you are centrally based to walk or tram to everything.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great area next to the water and only 20 min walk into the centre of Amsterdam. We loved that we could make our own breakfast and dinner in our own kitchen and the gym was great. Really friendly staff and highly recommend.

The staff was very warm and helpful during check-in and helped me with the luggage. Thankfully there is a lift that gets you up to your room floor. The room was spacious but they also gave me an upgrade to an even more spacious room. Loved the free in-room mini bar, free-flow snack bar and free wines that comes with the room, they made the experience even greater! Sunset views from the room was a bonus. It was also located really close to the shopping streets and the windmill was 15mins walk away. But if walking is not for you, it is also close to the bus station that takes you the the train station in 10mins.

We were booked into a double room but the room was in bad...

We were booked into a double room but the room was in bad condition. Broken flush button on toilet, cracked window seal, mouldy smell. We approached the manager to complain but she wasn't very cooperative. She finally swapped us to 2 single rooms and all went well. Mattress on one side of bed was a bit too soft for my back so I ended up with a stiff back. All in all good value for money hotel in the single rooms.

Train access to Amsterdam city center is fairly easy, but otherwise, there are no shops or activities to do in this small town; it's very limited, and on top of that, there's a plane every two minutes flying 50 meters above the hotel. So, there you have it, I won't be returning to this hotel.

Excellent (contactless) check-in, excellent value for money. The downside is that if you check in late, you don't have any (remote) controls for the air conditioning and TV. The interior is a bit dated here and there, but it's in good condition. The most important thing for us was cleanliness, and that was perfectly fine! Excellent overall!

Since we traveled in April, everything was still a bit quiet in its winter slumber. But that was fine for us. Unfortunately, the train station is quite far away and the elevator wasn't working. It was difficult with suitcases, as you had to cross the bridge. Train connections in all directions are very good. We would definitely come back to Zwanenburg.

Nice, boring suburb, poor public transport connections, but we had no other choice as we didn't want to go to a shared dormitory in Amsterdam at this overbooked time (Bumencorso Lisse).

For a hotel, it left much to be desired.

For a hotel, it left much to be desired. They didn't have a functioning kitchen, and the breakfast option was nonexistent. The room was never cleaned. They never changed bath or face towels. I stayed there for 4 nights and 5 days using the same towels... it was an experience I won't repeat.

The hotel was quite far away from the train station (20 min walk) in a quiet town outside of Amsterdam. It was a nice town, but not ideal if you want to spend the weekend sightseeing Amsterdam. Price was good, and beds were very comfy. Nice to have a fridge in the room.
