The hotel is beautifully located right in the centre of Zuidlaren, yet it’s surrounded by nature and also has a beautiful garden. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and even provided us with a safe space to store our bikes! The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

I loved the location, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant for breakfast was also well-organized! Zuidlaren is highly recommended! I was amazed by what I saw and would definitely go back and stay a bit longer. One day was simply too short. Sincerely, G. Rering-Saffrie

Zuidlaren is a wonderful town with many hiking and cycling...

Zuidlaren is a wonderful town with many hiking and cycling routes. It's ideally situated with nature reserves all around. The peace and quiet of nature are wonderful! Everything from shopping and cozy restaurants is within walking distance. It's also centrally located, making it an easy access point to the A7 motorway for Groningen and Germany.

Zuidlaren is a small town with all amenities.

Zuidlaren is a small town with all amenities. It's centrally located in the northern Netherlands. You can reach the city of Groningen in half an hour by public transport, and you're also right next to the most beautiful heathland and hiking areas in Drenthe. The beautiful province of Friesland is also just around the corner. It's one of the best locations for exploring the three northern provinces.

Zuidlaren is a small, charming village with shops, stores, and plenty of greenery. It's perfect for strolling and relaxing in the village's cafes. Ideal for cycling tours. A wonderful place to unwind and recharge. There's also a fantastic cheese shop.

The village is a hub for various hiking and cycling routes. The Pieterpad passes through here. Further south, near Annen, there are also beautiful hiking areas. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. It is easily accessible by public transport (bus).

A lovely, peaceful town, ideal as a base for exploring the province. There's a good, welcoming restaurant at the hotel, and every Friday there's a weekly market on the village green, right outside. Shops, etc., are within walking distance.

A very pleasant stay. The staff were truly friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The rooms were clean, the breakfasts were standard, and the dinners were very good with generous portions. The location is good, you can take a walk into the city on the weekend. Accessibility by car is also fine, with parking available either in front of the hotel or in a private lot behind the hotel (the access is a bit narrow, but you can find a spot even during the Friday markets).

This B&B was absolutely excellent. It’s located in the centre of Zuidlaren, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. It’s the perfect base for exploring both Drenthe and Groningen, and especially convenient for those walking the Groningen–Zuidlaren or Zuidlaren–Rolde sections of the Pieterpad.

We had a lovely and very large room overlooking the front of the hotel. Despite the road outside we heard very little noise at night. We were on a bike tour and the bike storage in a locked room was great. The breakfast was good and extensive. Overall we were very satisfied.
