A beautiful converted dairy in a small village , next to a working windmill, what’s not to like ,😀 there is a pub/restaurant and a small take a way food shop. There is also a world class equestrian site . We opted to have breakfast there wasn’t a choice but we had fresh fruit with yogurt ,bolied egg with a section of cheese and meat and assorted bread and pastries all served with a choice of tea or coffees . The B&B de oude melkfabriek were extremely accommodating as we made a short notice booking with them as the B n B we had previously booked which was on our tour route unfortunately became flooded and they had to cancel our stay . This B&B is also a short drive or a long walk to Achel Monastery where there is a shop and restaurant. Although you will find a lot of places are closed on a Monday .

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was very beautiful and spotlessly clean, with a huge and really comfy bed that had plenty of pillows. The decor felt fresh and recently renovated, which was lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and they really went out of their way to help me. They even let me leave my luggage for a few hours after check-out, which was super convenient. I’m really grateful to all the staff for being so welcoming.

We had a company evening at a different location, and the hotel was just a stone's throw away—fantastic! And we even had drinks afterward. No one at the hotel is difficult. Checking in and out was no problem. Great! We weren't in Valkenswaard long enough to give a review. We'll be back.

The location was perfect with many lovely terraces.

The location was perfect with many lovely terraces. I wouldn't recommend this as a hotel. The view was at the back. And the worst part was that I couldn't arrange breakfast or coffee in the morning, even though they did make breakfast for a group.

Valkenswaard is small but charming.

Valkenswaard is small but charming. We enjoyed many restaurants, including Onsz, which was excellent, and a six-course dinner at Brownies and Downies in honor of our son's wedding. Perfectly organized and the food was delicious. Congratulations again to the chef and staff.

Valkenswaard is a charming village on the edge of the Netherlands. It boasts a large market square bordered by numerous restaurants and terraces where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Plenty of shops are available in the surrounding area. And just outside the village, there are countless opportunities for hiking. The city of Eindhoven is also a short distance away, and public transport is readily available.

There's a lot of roadwork going on right now, which takes away the pleasant atmosphere. Restaurants are open late. Since we didn't get breakfast at our hotel, we had to look elsewhere. There was only one restaurant that opened at 9:00, namely De Belle. We were passing through by bike, and 9:00 is a bit late.

It's a beautiful village with a lovely square and a magnificent church in the center. St. Nicholas Church is highly recommended. There are cozy restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal and pleasant terraces. The staff is also incredibly friendly. There's also a lively market on Thursdays. I'd love to come back.

Super nice hosts and a beautiful place with everything you need. Lovely interior, comfortable and spacious. There's a terrace to enjoy the sun and the beautiful views of the garden and fields. There's a little kitchen if you want to use it - but we highly recommend the breakfast which was really amazing. We especially loved the art all around the house inside and outside and that our car had a private spot to be parked on. Valkenswaard is a beautiful little town too!

A very 'go with the flow' mentality and atmosphere make the stay very pleasant. The same goes for breakfast: just tell the staff what you like, and they prepare it for you. Normally, I don't appreciate hotel breakfasts because they are often overpriced for what you get. But at Brownies & Downies Valkenswaard, it is more than worth it. And to save the best for last - the energy and effort from all staff to give you a comfortable stay is incredible and heartwarming.

Perfect location for peace and quiet but convenient to walk to the centre of Valkenswaard to catch the bus. Hired bikes and able to cycle through the neighbouring countryside including the gorgeous nature reserves De Malpie and De Groote Heide. This is our second time staying at Vakantiehuis De Drie Bruggen and it won't be our last. We can highly recommend it!
