If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep for one night, this is probably not the place for you, unless you have business at Teuge Airport. If you are looking to spend a romantic time with your loved one and/or you are an aviation enthusiast, this is the perfect place for you. Make sure have plenty of time, or best spend 2 nights, in order to enjoy all the amenities of this one of a kind 'hotel'! Marjan is the perfect host. She even brought my breakfast in the evening (for the fridge), because I had an early start the next day for a flight out of AMS. Unfortunately I was alone on a business trip with not nearly enough time. I will definitely return, with more time and in company. Note: Traffic between Amsterdam and Teuge between 7.00 and 9.00 and between 15.00 and 18.00 is crazy so plan accordingly. You definitely need a car. There are plenty of car rentals available at AMS Airport. There is a restaurant for dinner called 'Take Off' at Teuge Airport that can also easily reached on foot.

We stayed here about 5 years ago. What a transformation since then! Complete refurbishment and modernisation. Superb large room with modern bathroom and walk-in shower. Pleasant garden with patio furniture provided. Breakfast choice is amazing and includes hot food. Evening dinner menu a little limited but nevertheless delicious. All the staff are friendly and helpful. A super rural location with good car parking. Would certainly visit again.

Slaapfabriek is in an interesting and peaceful rural location in Teuge. The Teuge Airport, close by, is for light propeller-driven aircraft. The occasional take off and landing is not intrusive at all and only adds extra interest. There is an interesting American theme to the decor, reflecting the owners' family connections to the US. The hostess, Marjo, was very hospitable and kind. My room was large, very comfortable and spotless. There was a large ensuite bath as well as a shower. The wifi was strong and glitch-free. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty. Slaapfabriek was a great place for me to relax and recharge my batteries after a long road trip from Northern Finland. I would be very happy to stay here next time I am in the Netherlands.
