This is a very beautiful and well decorated house, with very welcoming hosts. I was really close to the theatre where I was attending an event and, in the mornings, I could simply enjoy the big room, take a coffee, read and study in silence and will all confort. The bed was also very confortable. A great place for those who look for a quiet and comfy stay.

Nice, clean room, comfortable bed but not a double bed (2 single beds put together), 2 armchairs in the room and a small coffee table, nice shower, a small mini-kitchen with microwave, a fridge, a kettle (tea and sugar added) the cutlery and a nice surprise from the nice hosts (a bottle of wine and fruit), a nice table to sit at and have tea or breakfast. And a nice place to sit outside next to the room.

Location and staff! The team went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Before arrival, communication was excellent and due to flight delays took away our worries. The restaurant is a must do as well (make a reservation as highly popular) and the breakfast was great too. We were spoiled! Highly recommend a stay and a next time will stay a bit longer. The area has lots to offer.

It's not a bad little town.

It's not a bad little town. Lots of places to eat not far from the B&B. Clean streets. Some graffiti. I'm not sure what the draw would be for tourists, but I had business there and it was quite enjoyable.

Attention to detail is the first thing that comes to mind. This was not just another hotel, it was a very enjoyable 5 star experience. From the warm friendly welcome until our farewell, this will be the hotel that first comes to mind after 5 weeks of travel for all the right reasons. And yes as you will have read in other reviews don’t forget to enjoy the superb breakfast.

Villa Steenwyck Giethoorn located very near to city center of Steenwijk. The ambience of hotel is very nice and its one of the memorable one. Rooms were very nice, neat & clean. I strongly recommend the best place to stay if in the planning to be in Steenwijk.

Decent rate at this super modern design hotel close to the freeway. No noise from traffic. A short drive into town. Good location if you want to visit Giethorn byu car. Clean spacous room. Ample free parking.
