There is absolutely nothing to fault here. We booked a family room which meant two adjacent rooms with a door (actually two doors) from inside the room connecting the two rooms. This was on the ground floor. We stayed for two nights (me, hubby and kids 12 and 11). The rooms are brand new, clean, the water was warm enough, the sink did not bother us that it wasn't inside the bathroom but I actually found it useful there and found it smart how they used the space. There are four cups of coffee per day in each room :-). We had a lovely view and sunshine through the big terrace doors in the morning. By the way booking.com says there is no WiFi but of course there was WiFi and the signal was good. If there had been none I would have been shocked for this day and age not to have free internet access. The location is remote but exactly what we needed. Surrounded by greenery, lovely peaceful nature. Five mins walking distance there is a big park which unfortunately we didn't get to visit. We managed to visit the villages nearby and they were magnificent. For cyclists and hiking fans surely this is the perfect location. Amsterdam is about 1h 20mins away by car. There is a gorgeous village nearby called Giethoorn which is about 20mins drive. Absolutely worth visiting! Breakfast at the hotel was varied enough. There was different types of breads incl. fresh loafs, croissants, toasts etc. Cereal, fruit, jams, butters, eggs etc. Coffee was great! All in all we would gladly stay here again on a long weekend!

We arrived very late It was a tough day ! The car broke down and the sim card does not work great travel to be away from the real world 😂 however we would say that Hotel Van Saaze makes everything smooth. We thought we wont have the key to enter as it was super late and we notify the hotel with late notice. However they prepared the key in the box and just called them on an emergency number, they are on it right away to assist you! Late check in is okay. With such a tiring long day we rested super well in this hotel. My husband says they have the best comfy bed ever! yes! we booked a comfy room and it was really comfy!! with the best bed quality! The room was super clean and you got everything you needed with an amazing atmosphere and was very peaceful. Thumbs up Hotel Van Saanze. Highly recommended for someone who loves tranquility and cares about resting well before the big day the day after!

I can say that everything was wonderful. We were greeted by a lovely lady with a beautiful smile, she was very kind. Told us how we could get there and what to see during our stay. The whole appartment looked even more spacious than it looked in the photos. It looked like it was remodeled recently as it looks super modern and well equiped. The bed was by far the most comfy one I've encountered in any hotel. Having an apple pie on our arrival was a really nice touch from the owner which is super nice.
