We (a family of 5) had an amazing stay over the Christmas holidays. The living and dining area is very cozy, and the open-plan kitchen offers plenty of space for cooking together. The central heating worked perfectly, and the three separate bedrooms with very comfortable beds were ideal for our family. The location is fantastic: only 7 minutes by car to Schagen train station (free parking), with excellent connections to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. The beach is just a 10-minute drive away (we skipped biking because of the cold weather). The festive decorations made the house feel extra special and welcoming. Thank you, Ingrid, for making our holiday unforgettable.

The room was very comfortable, I normally fall out of a single bed but two beds pushed together prevented that lol. bathroom was very spacious with a good shower. Breakfast again was perfect for me.

The place is perfectly located in a quiet and calm countryside. The garden is a lovely place to sit or to have breakfast in, with cherry trees and so many beautiful plants around. The owner is super sweet and gave so many tips for sightseeing. The breakfast each morning is the highlight and I always looked forward to it. The portion was huge enough to keep me full till evening. Honestly, there couldn't be a better place to stay, when in Netherlands. The place gets a strong recommendation from my side. Would love to come back.
