A wonderful place! A beautiful house in a beautiful setting, with spacious and comfortable rooms designed with great attention to aesthetics and functionality. The bathroom is almost palatial. Delicious and abundant breakfasts served in a magnificent dining room. Definitely stop by if it's on your way. If it's not, change your travel plans! :) Ark van Thesinge is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Its location near Groningen makes it a great base for exploring this part of the Netherlands – within an hour's drive, you will find many interesting and beautiful places worth visiting. And finally: if you're lucky, you'll have the chance to chat with Anat, the lovely owner, who will give you tips on what to see and where to go in the area.

Super calm and super cosy! We were so well received with a fire already on in a rainy cold day. My son loved to watch the chicken and the sheep from both the windows (when it was wet out) as well as almost directly after stepping out. And the breakfast was a feast!
