I usually don´t rate the apartments, but here I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is very friendly. Apartment has a nice shower and comfy beds. There is also small garden in front of the apartment where you could sit and relax. Staying there was quite cheap which is also a big plus.

Linda is wonderfully caring about everything, which we feel good at our stay. The location with beautiful nature and quiet atmosphere. And like a seacret garden is so cozy. And the breakfast is plenty and well cared. Defenitely we would come back! Thank you!

Very lovely breakfast! It was brought to our room by the owner. Very delicious and lovely presentation! Yummy croissants ! For anybody looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place. It’s very quiet up there at night - we enjoyed hanging out with the sheep across the street! Very lovely decor and the owner is very nice too! Leeuwarden is a 15 minute drive away and absolutely worth a trip’ !

The entire thing feels really new and well put together! Styling wise it also looks adorable. • Everything is well taken care of and very clean. • Entrance had a separate space to hang coats, which I appreciated a lot with the constant rain in the Netherlands. This way the tiny house didn't get wet. • Living room/kitchen was styled nicely, and had all the essentials (tv, small cooking place, cutlery, coffee & tea etc.) • Bedroom was of a decent size for 2 people. There was also some space to hang clothes. • Bathroom looked completely new, had towels, proper mirrors etc. • Fresh linnens, towels and free condiments. • Spacious, lovely outdoor patio, with a cute seating area and a gorgeous view - if it doesn't rain. • If you're not a fan of kids: this might not be the place for you. Because when it's great weather outside, you can expect them to be around. Personally I don't mind - but to each its own.

The village of Oude Bildtzijl is very charming, with a café and various options for holiday excursions. Nearby is Noorderleech, a beautiful salt marsh area outside the dike where you'll find many geese in winter and cows and horses in summer. Furthermore, there's always an abundance of birds and views of the Wadden Sea and islands. It's wonderful to be there, so quiet and expansive.

It's a beautiful area with lots of nature and tranquility.

It's a beautiful area with lots of nature and tranquility. The sea is nearby, you can relax on a bench on the dike, and the charming villages are just a short distance away. And there's such a lovely tea garden, Wad Noflik, in Oude Bildtzijl. It's definitely worth a visit for coffee or tea with delicious homemade cakes!

Authentic and friendly village with many historical sites.

Authentic and friendly village with many historical sites. Beautifully situated near the Wadden Sea (no beach!), making it all the more peaceful and a great base for hiking and cycling. Amenities such as a supermarket are not available, but are available nearby (10 km).

It's located in a small village with one restaurant/bar; larger towns offer more bars, eateries, and entertainment options. Narrow roads with speed limits and buses are available, so you're not tied to a car.
