Location was ideal for my work needs. Very efficient and friendly staff. Fantastic rooms, even had a small kitchenette area with fridge and microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. Massive comfy bed, small sofa/seating area, the whole layout of the room was brilliant. Would not hesitate in recommending this place. Arrived quite late but was in time for dinner. had the bacon and cheese burger which appeared homemade and was excellent, juicy and tasty. Had a couple of beers too, prices were very good.

Well appointed, clean, friendly hotel very close to the motorway. The staff were incredibly helpful when our car wouldn't start the next morning - helped us with trying to jump start and then made phonecalls for us to get a breakdown service out. They went far beyond what might be expected which changed our day from a disaster to a success. Thank you!

The village is just beautiful! We were attending the WW 11 ceremony on Friday 20th! Fabulous work by the committee and Peter was a brilliant host. Our needs and wishes were looked after 100%. My wife's uncle John Riordan, a pilot, was shot down outside the village in 1944, hence the ceremony, some 80 years after the ceremony.

I advise everyone to visit this hotel, it is very bright. It is very cozy, it is in a beautiful place, it is easy to get to the necessary locations. I liked the attitude of the staff, very polite and I liked the rooms, very clean and comfortable, the rooms are large and bright. I advise you to visit this hotel!

Our experience was unfortunately very disappointing.

Our experience was unfortunately very disappointing. The instructions to find the key were unclear, there was no lighting, and we had to rely on a neighbour just to locate the property. When we entered the house, it was not prepared for guests at all: no towels, no sheets, no duvet covers, only one roll of toilet paper for six people, and no basic amenities like trash bags or dishwasher tablets. The caretaker offered no help and told us to ‘go to IKEA’ to buy everything ourselves. The hot tub advertised in the listing was also unusable, as it was empty and required us to buy wood and spend hours preparing it. This stay did not reflect what was advertised, and we had unexpected costs just to make the house functional. I would not recommend booking this property.
