There was a basic breakfast available with butter (selfmade?) and jam. Really delicious and perfect for us, as we arrived late in the evening. The location is in the middle of green fields and a nice landscape. With the Uber it’s around 20€ to get to Utrecht. Really positive was the fact, that there were free bikes available, which can be used. Only the lights were not working, but this was okay during the day. Furthermore the host Stefan was really kind and helpful with a sightseeing tour for Utrecht and other recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay. Can highly recommend to stay with them.

Normally I only give a review if everything goes wrong or everything is perfect. This is defiantly the second case. That was a perfect stay. The hotel itself was wonderful. A large building with a beautiful surrounding. A stunning garden (especially in autumn) and a large parking with 4 charging ports for the EV cars. Parking: parking in the center is really hard to find and not cheap, so I was very happy to find this hotel with a parking in the city. Parking is not free but still cheaper than when parking on the street. Restaurant is open for public so the parking might be busy in the evening Room: very large rooms, a lot of storage space and everything you really need. Room was very clean and quite. Style was modern but still respecting the classic design of the hotel. Restaurant/Bistro: they have a restaurant and a bistro. The bistro is the less expensive option. We only went to the bistro and really loved everything. Service was friendly, food was delicious. I really cant imagine what the restaurant could do better. Like mentioned the restaurant is open to public so you need to make a reservation Location: really perfect. You are in the city center, shopping street and touristic attraction are 5 minutes away. Despite the central location it is quite without any traffic noise. Staff: very friendly, always smiling and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and we are for sure coming back

Liked the quirky decor. Bedroom very comfortable with everything we needed. Nice atmosphere in the bar/dining room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and great coffee. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Beautiful well thought out room in a great location. They thought about everything you need for a super comfortable stay. Fantastic rain shower, mini fridge, blue-tooth speaker, coffee maker, plates, bowls, glasses & cutlery, even earplugs & umbrellas you can borrow. The staff in the greenhouse shop are extremely friendly & very helpful. I had an issue with the bedding because I'm allergic to feathers & forgot to check when I booked, they sorted it out with hypoallergenic bedding with no problem & were very kind about it! No issues leaving our bags after check out. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay again! Thank you so much!

* Beautiful location *Train station right across the street * 24hr front desk * Room service is quick and efficient * Breakfast was really good - salad bar, bread bar, cereal bar, milk bar(with about 5 different types of milk Inc. non dairy) coffee and juice machine, dessert bar, great scrambled eggs and some more breakfast items that changed every day and everything tasted fresh and kept well warm. Well worth the money. * The dinner option at the lobby restaurant was also very good although a little pricey and not a lot of options to choose from, the food was great. along with the alcohol bar, I'd say go for it if you want to spare traveling to find a good place to eat (try the ribs). * Room was kept clean everyday, we had a mess of clothes everywhere and the staff ignore it while cleaning they go around it so keep that in mind * Smart TV that lets you stream content from your phone with ease * can open room windows (very important) * quite a quiet area

Very nice and spacious rooms with high ceiling. Very good location. Very good shower and large bathtub. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nicely decorated. High quality toiletries. The hotel provided (with a cost) a birthday surprise for my boyfriend, balloons and a small cake. Attentive staff. Parking right next to the hotel (30 euros for 24hs). For the breakfast the breads with toppings are served on the table together with your request of coffee/thee/ fresh orange juice, then you pick from their menu what you want to eat. There are a lot of options and the quality is top notch, best breakfast i ever had in a hotel.

Location was ideal for transport access (very easy and quick by train into Utrecht) and right in the centre of the delightful town of Houten, away from other tourists, which has plenty of good restaurants, shops and supermarkets right on the doorstep. It was very easy to hire bicycles from the hotel and cycle around Houten (even into Utrecht). The room was comfortable and well soundproofed.

The location was great, rooms were clean and suitable for a couple for a longer period if needed. Kitchen had all the necessary items to prepare a meal , plenty of shops for groceries and eating out. The Houten train station was next to the accommodation.
