The guesthouse was lovely, I really enjoyed the food in the restaurant with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly. There’s beautiful scenery and lovely walks. There is a lot of wildlife to see in the area with lakes and a small beach. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway with nature walks and good food I would recommend Horst.

The host was very friendly explaining everything upon arrival. Location is a short walk into town with multiple supermarkets available and other smaller shops. Coffee available in the communal kitchen is far better than normal instant you get in hotel rooms. The room (room 5) was spacious with an attractive vaulted ceiling windows that fully open with great ventilation, and large comfy beds, great for relaxing in after busy days exploring, by far the best bed on our week long trip at multiple hotels.

As someone deeply attuned to the intricate nuances of the hospitality sector, I pay meticulous attention to every aspect of a space and its environment. From the rooms to the staff, the restaurant, the garden, the location, and the overall architectural design, everything was truly exceptional! Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the beer they brew.

Cozy hotel in a wonderful nature area, suitable for short and long walks. Super friendly youthful staff, always available to serve. The breakfast is diverse and freshly prepared. The Christmas festive evening was a gift for soul and body with non-stop live music. Thank you for the fantastic stay! Highly recommended to experience!

Beautiful setting on the lake. Plenty parking off road. Food in the restaurant was excellent value for money, delicious & well presented. The wait was not long. The breakfast was decent hotel standard. The pool was hard to find as there are no signs anywhere. Small wellness area, but was fine with only a few people in there.
