Everything went pretty well, we had a great room with a balcony and sunshine in the afternoon. Breakfast selection was excellent! The lady who checked us in was very helpful and looked after our request.

Hotel De Dennen is located in a quiet neighborhood, 200 meters from the city centre and 600 meters from the beach. There is free Wi-Fi and a pretty garden to relax.

I liked everything.. beds..spacey shower, separate toilet, balcony.. garden view.. singing BIRDS! usually I don't eat breakfast but I checked it out here.. Everything is very Dutch.. the brands.. the coffee, tea, fruit and cookies all day.. Good quality..Old fashioned Dutch quality and lovely staff who will see to your wishes Everything is very relaxed..and though Egmond is a very German tourist place this was not noticeable here.. Note : I was here just before tourist season starts You feel the eye is on detail.. And the well being of guests.. Perfect beds.. Windows can open and great fauteuls! Small table for glass and cups.. No desk but who needs it when the dunes and beach are waiting! I appreciate a rack for luggage.. Homey and all is very clean

Very friendly people, both at the hotel and around. Perfekt location to the ocean, the beach and shopping. Nice view to the sunset from the balcony. Breakfast was delicious.

We arrived quite late and only had one full day to enjoy the area — and we truly couldn't be happier that we chose Room 1 aan Strand! First of all, the communication was perfect. The owner was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful, which really stood out and made us feel welcome right away. Thank you for the lovely arrival! The accommodation itself is beautiful, very clean, and extremely central — everything you need is within walking distance. Parking was easy and close by. We explored the surroundings with our convertible, and it was already stunning — but next time, we’ll definitely bring our bikes too, as the flower and tulip fields are just breathtaking! We had breakfast at the café run by the owners and came back later for their amazing poffertjes — both delicious and cozy. If we ever return (or if friends ask us for a recommendation), we would absolutely book this place again. A big thank you to the wonderful hosts — both the gentleman and the lady — for being so genuinely friendly and welcoming. We felt very much at home. 💛 Dank jullie wel & see you next time!
